Why would they take the price down to under 25p if they are considering an offer. It would make more sense if the price of the share was higher then they could command a better price.

Oilandgas Jan17 38p+. FairPlay to your optimism but it isn't going to happen. More delays more nothingness and price probably a little lower than now.

However I hope your correct and I'm wrong as im a current holder.

under 26p offer?..Odd stuff. The renowned KJK must be referring to Giles Hargreaves statement years ago thathe would not sell for less than £1.60. Anything around there would be fine and morally exonerate us to go and find something in the Chaco area of Paraguay where the Guarneri live. 25p bid eh? Long way to go.
Be prepared for a month's suspension if they are considering an offer.

The share price movement all comes down to Amer communicating with the market and PIs, a single announcement in dec16 of

1) moving to 7.2kbopd production
2) 5kbopd through OBA
3) 4 well drills in the next 4 months with a schedule e.g. spudding dates etc
4) engaged in talks to get other oil into OBA in 2017 q1.

It may be time for a PR / Amer management change without regular comms

Rather than post stuff here I went straight to them via a source. He too is concerned and I assume has raised the subject. Either that or Colombian papers are talking tosh.
Clarification may be on its way very soon via the Bogota PR. Company.

In April, it will be ten years since GC and his team assumed control. I think they are more likely to be working on their exit strategy than the paying of a dividend.

How odd would it be, to pay a dividend out of the equity raised funds earmarked for development?

Perhaps, once the OBA is generating passive revenue from transporting 3rd party oil, it might be appropriate to make distributions, but in the meantime, we should be getting our adrenaline fixes from the exciting program planned: we are getting bored because regular communication with the shareholder base is abysmal.

if this company wishes to be taken more seriously it should commence by paying a dividend. Until it does it is quite understandable why investors are getting bored.
