Once upon a time, not so long ago, it did not seem beyond the realms of possibility. In May 2014, RBC had a target price of 101p. But that was then :-/

If the 'few days' happens to coincide with next Thursday we'll be fine. Otherwise we're looking at 6th Oct post-referendum.
The ups and downs are some betting on the Bobtail nag and some on the Bay.
Post ref we are on a winner next Thurs is less certain based on past imminence etc.
The pipeline was first raised, or came to my ears, at an AGM in 2008 I believe when St Mellons was overrun by Taylor Wimpey conferees(whom I thought may get the contract then)...been a while.
Another few days and the definition of imminent may be re-written.

Will the Oil flow before the China Bubble blows?
Knowing our luck, the taps will turn on at the very moment the demand dries up.

I agree with no debt, increasing production and news on OBA anytime now this is a strong Buy. This is my pick of the oil plays as less risky but rewards just as big. Good luck

you have to wait to see if rexy boyo still sellin coz he the real reason why amer not 30p+ today

but the downside to that is if you wait to see wot go on and not get a position it could be 28p before you knows it

it look like all good stuff comin from now on with amer coz they have loads of drills and seismics to report

production risin

oba deals

Roll: With 240,000+ shares bought on the UT at 24.75p (or near to 10% of all the shares traded on the 16th) you can say goodby to 24p as from today.
Guaranteed.
Check TALK Fridays UT too! Amazing numbers.

There is a show of confidence here today, and yesterday.
Lets hope we've moved away from that pathetic 24p. I can't stand 24p anymore, I don't want to see 24p, I hate 24p haaaarg!

Cheers Q. Ditto re your PS.
I watched the interview yesterday. Basic story seems the same to me albeit delayed. Sounds familiar!

Hi BWD,
Showing a Tenkan & possibly a Kijun upwards cross depending on where it finishes.
Both of which are Bullish indicators.
Was heavily oversold so not a huge surprise to see some recovery emerging, especially as the fundies were/are reasonably sound for the sector and most of the worries were about harder than expected Sandstone layers rather than the amount of oil that is clearly there.
However, this is one of those shares, like PPC, who's popularity is in excess of what its narrative justifies IMO.
When you compare its asset base to Amer, it doesn't stack up that well.
However, follow the money and take a profit if you can :)
Q.

PS, I've still got some and am waiting to get my shirt back.....

PPS, I see from Malcy's blog that he's got the CEO of Panr on TipTV doing an interview....might be worth a look.

Malcy says:
Amerisur Resources

Interims from Amerisur yesterday which were overtaken by news that the long-awaited OBA pipeline was finally being completed and was set to open ‘in the next few days’. Much later than expected for a number of reasons but lately primarily the severe flooding, the OBA will cut around $12 off opex and more importantly allow AMER to open up shut-in production and start talking to nearby producers for 3rd party tariff work. Expect production to rise from 4,500 b/d to a year end number of around 7,200 b/d and hopefully more afterwards. Amer has $56.1m of cash, no debt and an undrawn RBL, the news yesterday was well received as should such a transformational one for the company.

Both Amer and Lek should show a Tenkan cross today so a mildly bullish signal.
Lek shows considerably more intra-day volatility than Amer though so the spread might catch you out.....Ppc on similar share price is in a lot more bullish position chartwise....although could be a bit toppy.
Raining here
