Is it fair to assume that Amer will one day get taken over for a REALISTIC price based upon assets, production and reserves, regardless of the games that are currently being played with the sp??

Historically annual reserves are are announced in Apr prior to year end financial results. Perhaps Calao is taking longer than thought (interpretation of results rather than drilling) and RNS was released to keep the natives (PIs) happy

tsmith- exactly my thoughts, there was zero pressure/need to put out that reserves PR today. If Calao not yet in the sands or a duster surely you would wait and have held this news back. Bodes well ;)

Could be they are gearing up for a PR thunderstorm!

At 30days + Calao will now be deep into the LS3 layer.

Comparison of latest & last reserves reports. Platanillo holds up quite well although 3P drop greater than production which I suppose reflects Pintadillo? CPO-5 obviously the big plus with more to come (hopefully!).

Good news. Underlining CPO-5 can more than make up for the sputtering Platanillo.

"Total production from the Platanillo field during 2018 was 1.61 MMBO....."

or 4411 bopd for the year.

1st half was 4987 bopd meaning
2nd half was 3835 bopd
