04/3/2019 11:43 | If it was a big block sale and the seller is done then the price should move very quickly from here. We could even see one or two director buys: they don't seem to have a problem with buying before news. | mad foetus
04/3/2019 11:38 | I think that 2.7m trade was an accumulated Investco sale! They could be finished now or, if not, very soon. Things could change here very quickly, and when Calao-1 result comes in I think will be back over 20p again | swerves1
04/3/2019 11:36 | It doesn't really matter, does it? Either there have been lots of little sells absorbed by that buy or lots of buys have absorbed that sell. News is what will move this stock, and news is coming soon. | mad foetus
04/3/2019 11:30 | Invesco smaller co’s said in May it wasn’t going to be in amerisur long, could be them selling out, pre drill results, which makes sense. That could be what has been holding the price down recently. I’ve bought another tranche at 16.5 last week. My largest holding now. I’m extremely happy with what is happening at Amerisur. | king_baller
04/3/2019 11:25 | Buy i think at timing as a sale for that large amount would go through at much lower than 16.33p | laptop15

04/3/2019 11:12 | 2.7mm sale. Don't tell me we found more limestone. | lucyp00p
04/3/2019 10:17 | No news is good news they must have reached TD by now | tom111
04/3/2019 09:47 | Yep, the price action is carp... betting against Caleo results? Hopefully, anyone short will get taken to the woodshed and face the usual slaughtering! | sogoesit
04/3/2019 09:43 | The price action here is bizarre but not for long. Feels like some lose ends being tidied up | tsmith2
04/3/2019 09:33 | Is POO settling into a trading range and period of relative low volatility, technicals suggest so $61-68 Brent. | knackers
04/3/2019 09:00 | Worth remembering as well that 2 months ago the board bought over 1m shares at 17.5p+ | mad foetus
04/3/2019 08:30 | Certainly feels like the clock is ticking. Would be astonished if this drops below 16p again, feels like a very good area to build a position. | mad foetus
04/3/2019 08:14 | Would expect results within the week | tsmith2
03/3/2019 01:16 | Makes you sit up and pay attention when you realize Ken was only 51, so I am the same age as you Aceuk! Live life to the fullest folks. Enjoy it while you can. Nice tribute to Ken in the Racing Post. | lauders
02/3/2019 20:44 | Didn't realise Ken was younger than me - by 2 years - I heard a couple of glowing tributes here in North Wales last night. | aceuk
02/3/2019 16:58 | Yes, thanks for posting the link to the obit, westie. Cheers, M | marnewton
02/3/2019 14:48 | That's a great tribute to Ken in the Racing post westy. Thanks for posting it - it was a privilege to know him. mabel | mabel 123
02/3/2019 13:05 | TDH fair play to both you and trotts, when I got there, Sally, behind the bar, said there's £100 credit waiting for me at the bar!!! What was I supposed to do, couldn't let JW and NH drink it all, so a few of us, including Brian (Valentine) and BigWaveDave took advantage. Once again cheers to you and especially Ken aka Trotting. | moneylender
02/3/2019 12:10 | Haven't checked into this thread for almost a year and not sure why I did this morning until I saw your post.Trotts was one of just a handful of posters who i would look for when I scrolled through the thread. I lost a bet to him years ago and it cost me £100 behind the bar at St Mellons ( I think ML drank most of it !) against him baring his buttocks - glad he won ;-)Really sad that he and Val won't be here when we reach the mystical £1 this Christmas. 02/3/2019 12:06 | 51 - that's shocking. A very well penned tribute. I'll raise another glass tonight. | lucyp00p
02/3/2019 11:27 | Don't think the "Columbian" crude article relates to us. These gulf refineries are able to process heavy crude which is what Venezuela produces. They are looking for an alternative source for heavy crude, which produced by Columbia. However, ours is light crude, which is not what these particular refineries are after. On the up side, for us, our crude does attract the $9.80 discount to Brent that the other Columbian heavy crude does. To make it more complicated, our light crude is co-mingled with other heavy Columbian crude (to make it flow) and I assume this "blend" is also what they are talking about, and is what is being bid up in price. Also, on the big picture, this pushing oil prices in general up. However, AMER does not seem to corollate with the oil price. | 11_percent
02/3/2019 11:10 | RIP Trotters, you left us too soon | 99barracuda |
