01/3/2019 08:39 | Decent buy at 252k. Surely, at some point interest in the stock has to rise.pls Trotting seemed a good guy | tsmith2
01/3/2019 08:23 | Yes, very sad news. I met Ken only once - at my first Chaco AGM in, I think, 2006. He struck me as being a thoroughly nice guy. Puts other things into perspective, doesn't it? | bigwavedave
01/3/2019 08:18 | I am also saddened to hear the news about Ken. He, too, was one of the original band of Amerisur shareholders. Condolences to his wife, Nicola, and his children. Very much a shame that he won’t be around to see the next stage of Amerisur which promises to be so much more interesting than recent years. | sharesure4
01/3/2019 08:14 | First Val, now Trotting, very sad news that they never got to see the value released in Amer. If there is a heaven I hope you are looking down on us and giving them a guiding hand with the drill bit. | gtfcniles
01/3/2019 08:04 | Sorry to hear that news. I was wondering only recently why he hadn't been posting for a while. His long experience with AMER I think helped many like me keep the faith over the past eighteen months with his consistent assertion that AMER would still come good as the Harbour and otheir factors saw the share price plunge below 10p. It's a great shame that he won't be around to see the effect of CPO-5 really (hopefully) kick in. My condolences to his family and friends. | chopper harris1
01/3/2019 07:29 | I am saddened to hear of the passing of trotting and he will be sorely missed from the thread . I was hoping to meet him one day but alas along with Val it seems the good die young . Thank you for informing us Westmoreland Lad and I will be raising a glass to Trotting later . | doughboy66
01/3/2019 07:13 | Am very sad to hear this news too, even though I only knew him through his bb posts as Trotting and his work with racehorses. RIP | swerves1
01/3/2019 01:15 | I did not know Trotting but he appears to be someone I would be happy to call a friend. My condolences to all his friends here and to his family and other friends outside the investment circle. A sad way to start the day in the Far East! RIP Trotting, you will be missed. | lauders
28/2/2019 23:10 | Always wondered about the liberal sprinkling of commas & full stops in his posts.... | thegreatgeraldo
28/2/2019 22:29 | That's sad news indeed about Trotting. Only "know" him through his postings here | thegreatgeraldo
28/2/2019 22:24 | Never met the guy personally, but sad to lose another long term and very much valued poster here. I remember back in Chaco days when when he sat on quite a pile of shares! All the best and condolences to his family. Very sad that we've lost another of our number. | al101uk
28/2/2019 22:13 | That news makes me very, very sad - only ever spoke to Ken once (in real life) and was amazed at how much he knew (through trotting) about my area/friends. What a truly nice guy. | aceuk
28/2/2019 21:51 | Oh westie, how very sad. He was always what I call 'good value'. And fun to spar with on occasion. My condolences to all who knew him personally. Martin | marnewton
28/2/2019 21:46 | I am so very sorry to hear about the passing of Ken, a true gentleman and such a good friend to me over the years.I will miss you greatly, my condolances to Nicola and family.RIP my friend. | stewart4980
28/2/2019 21:40 | It is with great sadness to inform you that our dear friend TROTTING 12 died this morning, far too early in life. Ken Slack was a farmer and race horse trainer from Appleby-in-Westmorla those that met him will remember him as a fine up standing man with a great sense of humour and just a thoroughly nice person. His funeral will be on Friday 8th March at 11 am in the church in Appleby square . | westmoreland lad
28/2/2019 17:47 | When the Calao results are known, either there's more oil from a separate structure, or LOTS more oil as Indico is better defined. | the drewster
28/2/2019 17:46 | Hold your nerves guys its not just AMER valuation that seems pathetically valued premier, rockhopper, hurricane, trinity, echo, president can go on not sure what the reason but surely turn round eventually. we could have another major shareholder of loading another mopping them up 16,17 range maybe this his why JW was doing is rounds for new backers we will no soon enough, thought we would've had news with drill bit this week maybe tomorrow. | avsome1968
28/2/2019 17:17 | Very much in the cross-hairs for a hostile approach as the valuation disconnect is now yawning. Someone's determined to keep this down and out. Over the past few sessions we've seen some very strange, almost contrived, tiny trades into the close hitting the bid (within seconds of the close). Can be nothing but automated and intended. But to what end? | knackers
28/2/2019 16:48 | Well that was a poor day :( I had a small top-up yesterday too for the first time in a very long time... typical. | rollthedice
28/2/2019 15:54 | Mariposa and Indico results = LS3 oil column gets thicker as you go south, up-dip. Fluid dynamics. Indico PR early Dec JW: "In our view the principal pre-drill risk in this well was the presence of significant sand development in the Une formation." They knew they had a good closure. And the sands at Indico weren't just there, they were fill-to-spill. JW: "not something that happens in isolation" That oil has a massive source. Find the sand (tick) move up, find the closures and there's gonna be a LOT of oil. | paradores
28/2/2019 13:18 | Plentymorefish. What charts are you looking at, the pop charts! | dayway123 |
