Falling 'wedge' Gateway.Please. My 'wedge' with AMER has been falling for 8 years now. Would love to have added £1 a pop for every 'it's just around the chart corner' prediction. Would have been onto a winner there.

The structure at Calao may not be as defined as Indico, but it's there alright, so they may get into paleozoic again. If the oil's backed-up on the fault, like Indico, as Calao is also updip, then could be a repeat of Indico, i.e. LS3 fill-to-spill and no OWC. They then need to go back down the LS3 incline (north) toward Mariposa to find it. This is why Calao so interesting. If oil has migrated updip (likely) then why assume any different to Indico? Assuming a good trap at Calao.

You are asking why against your own supposition. You do not know what they are thinking and certainly not that they are avoiding OWC.

If I was them I would drill deeper at this stage for OWC.
maybe next time.
they just do not want to do what is a very important info.
why?

Another top up for me. It's really frustrating when I enter the EPIC and I'm presented with 2 shares. AMERISUR - down 22.8% in a year, and Anglo American - up 64.9%. If only I'd got fat finger syndrome last year, still, it's a marathon, not a sprint, right?

Today's and of course recent updates from Boil (formerly Gold Oil GOO) is a stark reminder of what "could" have happened to us here.

I remember about 13 or 14 years back both companies had similar profiles and mcaps and I believe there were also a few of us here had an interest over there as well (Val was certainly one).

It just goes to show that despite our frustration at times things have actually worked out not too badly here........

Since we all love charts..
Out the falling wedge in a sideways move as predicted and travelled straight out of the gloomy downchannel.
Would be good to see the 50 taken out next would expect that if no duster on the horizon. Could get more interesting now imo.

Indeed it will ts. We'll see...

If there's a cover trap at Calao - be a miracle if no oil. With what's next door - the seismic - learning from Indico (and Mariposa) sure the CoS here is gonna be high. We're what, 35 days in....? I think unlikely this is a dry well, they should have hit the top section of the LS3 days ago and if nothing in that top layer (as the LS3 sands are so porous) fluid dynamics mean you'd pretty much immediately pack-up & move on. You sure don't continue just coz you got excess mud to pump!

They simply sold into the I-1 news Charlieee and with it being such a large find no problem with someone the other side of the trade, but as always, the buyer has the boot-foot ;o)

Global market for Brent is tightening... (KSA/OPEC cuts bite) - expect shale production to plateau and drop off through the year as investor pressure mounts on shale Cos to turn a profit.

Like RH, below the 3% notifiable thresholds, but still selling millions of shares (2 funds but under institutions tab, sales of 12m and 2.5m respectively and virtually out at the end of Feb 2019).

This exodus has created a real opportunity: IMO, there would not have been much of a retrace post Indico, but for these dysfunctional operators.
