Their own broker is always going to have a high TP. It does not mean it will ever reach that price. Over the years I have learnt never to invest based on any brokers predictions. Todays fall is in my opinion profit taking and lack of any news this week so far. Nothing to worry about

The share price has gone up from 9.5p, when scare mongers were rife on here.

Effectively, we have had significant good news on both Putumayo and CPO-5.

OXY were happy with the proposed work plan in Putumayo, otherwise they would not have put $93 million on the table to crack on with development.

CPO-5 is a cracker. It takes a couple of weeks to rig down and up again, so if they can achieve the Calao 1 spud in January, that would be extraordinarily efficient.

Then we have all the directors' buys, wiping much of the liquidity out of the market which was causing such damage to the share price

Currently, the share price does not reflect the underlying value of the company, but expectations on news flow have to be realistic, particularly given that there is such a small team in Colombia and such a huge portfolio of assets to develop.

The next news is likely to be Calao, but equally it could be a round up on Putumayo or even something quite unexpected, such as ending the Vetra impasse on Put 8, either with an aquisition by us or another prestige partnership.

Looks like mr market thinks the delay in an ops update means they are hiding something.

Can now buyback some I sold with a 10% gain, maybe next week.

On 03.10.2018 "Amerisur Resources Plc, the oil producer and explorer focused on South America, is pleased to announce the T sand interval at the Pintadillo-1 discovery has flow tested under natural flow at 590 bopd of 30.4 degrees API oil under choke of 18/64" with strong wellhead pressure of 110psi. ...." And "The company plans to re-map the T and U sand targets across this part of block to evaluate the size of the discovery and will make a decision as to future drilling options from the Pintadillo pad thereafter. ..."

And on 17.10.2018 "... The Pintadillo-1 well test in the T sand is continuing at varying levels of production based on the testing. Initial results indicate that the well is located low on the new structure. The Company expects to complete re-mapping of this discovery in the next four weeks, followed by a decision on further drilling to appraise the discovery. ..."

Three months have passed since the last update. A decision has definitely been taken since then.

Wouldn't it be good to update the market on this well whether it is positive or not? Otherwise, the market will take its own decision and the share price will drift lower!

I know that they struck oil at CPO-5 and the share price responded positively for that already. But to keep the momentum, we need more positive news from elsewhere.

And what happened to " ... The recently acquired Coendu seismic data in Put 12 and Put 9 has now been processed and is being interpreted prior to finalisation of the first Coendu drilling location. ..." This was on 17.10.2018! Three months have passed since then. A decision has definitely been taken on this one too.

I am already invested in this one and do NOT intend to invest more. So, all I want is for the share price to go one way from here. And that is UP!

So, can they please issue an RNS and update the market on these?

Well looking at the chart, all the previous peaks have been followed by quite a re-trace in shareprice. So while all may be ok for long term investors, traders may be taking profits after the doubling of shareprice from 10p levels

CPO5 will be one of the largest, most productive AND profitable fields in Llanos with 200ft+ net pay across a vast area and each drill gushing at circ 5k+ bopd.
