Tyler, ANH might say what can be released, but ONGC V does not update shareholders on detail(whereas Amer does - usually...).

Charlie. you are either a stooge for a city company or just not knowledgeable about the rules or even about some of the statements you make.

They DO NOT always report CPO-5 updates quite separate, that is completely and utterly incorrect.

They ALWAYS report CPO -5 updates quite separately from any other news.

Trying to suggest that anything has been left out of this CPO-5 update is attempted market manipulation.

The first time that Mariposa news will be rolled into a "normal" update, will be in the December monthly figures and we have been advised in advance of that change in reporting policy.

One point worth bearing in mind is the the Indian operator is not required to issue information to anywhere near the level of a UK listed company. They announced the discovery and that’s it. They then seem only to report overall production, not that of individual wells. Another well is in the offing, which can be seen by the tendering ONGC V has recently carried out, with a third (SOL) also chalked in, so all sounds good.

One reason Amerisur as at this low level is sentiment, much of that seems to be caused by lack of trust in the BoD after successive targets were missed.

Others might believe Amerisur thinks it can ignore any news it wants, or share it amongst others without notifying shareholders. This is unacceptable .

At the very least in today's announcement there should have been mention of the progress or otherwise of Plat 25, whether it was good news or bad news.

Report on PLAT 25 whether its good or bad news.

Expect these to rerate by end of year as all this GOOD news catches the eye of institutional investors.I will be buying all I can at these lower prices as this is extremely undervalued.Good luck all

it all depends what the handling capacity of the equipment that will be needed to deal with the well completion fluid , they can't just dump it straight onto the ground , it needs carting away for proper environmental handling and disposal , flow rates will be ramped up during the testing phase to get best rates from the well without sand production and without too quick a depletion rate, this field could be the game changer for amer IMO

So where is the news on this well.

Yep, no problem, a lower cleanup flow rate at higher pressure, then to go on production at a higher flow rate after pressure buildup....I think this IS the good news we have been awaiting, and still fully expect we’ll get our share of 3000 bopd, time will tell

ONGC Videsh Are in control and will do it their way. I see nothing to be alarmed about and JW is being clear that the initial run was not the production rate. ONGC Videsh stated recently they expected a production rate upwards of 3200 bopd during the LTT. Keep calm and curry on...

API and water cut consistent

PSI higher, but then the flow is more controlled.

Clearly telling us the date it started and how many hours for the pressure build up test.

Production to be included in monthly figures: situation normalized.

A thoroughly professional update.

So, information leaked and was misunderstood and this RNS corrects at the earliest opportunity?
