Hi Martin -- thanks for the graph + the stochastic going forward.

Regards happy chappy Curry - most of us have got the grumps atm and will continue
to do so until the seller has done. Known Curry for many moons outside AMER -- TOP MAN !!

Especially for that happy chappy CURRYPASTY:

Been away. And then straight back to a building project which is taking up much of my time.

My third tranche remains a hold having decided to rely on the rising 50 day SMA (blue line) to provide support/trigger - after the horizontals had failed.

(It was the only tranche in jeopardy, the others being bought much lower.)

Sotto voce...a stochastic 'buy' signal today.

Hmmm the fact it penetrated the cloud could that be considered a bad sign like last time?

ffs guys look at yesterday's big volume but look at the very narrow range traded.
That tells you that those big trades had actually been worked for a wee bit. It was basically the next tranche in the dumpathon by RH.
If you have to ask why the share price appears to have stalled that's your answer.
Now where it get's interesting is if we don't appear to attract any more buyers.
What does RH do then?
Unless he wants to sit on the stock which I doubt, hence the selling into any strength he'll have to take a further hit on his price. Forcing the issue will see the share price drift south and possibly spike down to achieve that final clearout.
Just imo of course but why didn't we see a massive jump in the price yesterday if they had all been buys....

Sadly any good news we get drilling -wise or whatever is ultimately gonna be an opportunity for RH to offload.

Sorry Tony, only just seen your post.
I follow your advice and only check in once a day nowadays for a quick glance at the rns and share price
Astonishing how much time that frees up for other activities :)

Shan't be in Town until the following week so shall miss meeting up for a Ruby.

Been bouncing off the top of the clouds as support. Now showing a Kumo breakout which, as any fule kno, is bullish :)

As Basil Fotherington-Thomas would say: "Hello Clouds, Hello Sky!"

looking at the chart, its either going up, or coming down.. it rarely stays the same.
It was coming down, now its turned, and its going up

charting eh... nothing else matters

Not sure it's a persistent seller but more due to the high market cap. The performance of the company still has to catch up with the share price.

At some point when the numbers start to translate to earnings then the share price will follow.

Don't worry about Rex he will sold out some day ,,Amer is making loads of cash with great assets to exploit and this will be reflected in the share price someday ,

There is a persistent seller, so excess stock to shift, so you wouldn't be surprised if the market makers dropped the price to hit the stops of recent buyers.

Eh?

They've been attempting to suck people in even though there's not much pressure on the offer. I wouldn't be surprised to see them take this down - far enough to hit stops on many of the recent buyers.

So even with a decent jump in the oil price and e&p co's doing well today, amer is a bit of a laggard. Welcome to the Rex effect.
No volume today. I'd rather he accelerate his dumping even if it means the share price takes a hit. Just to get it over with.

Plenty upside here if we can get production to 7000/ day and oil price remains at current price.
7000 barrels x $40/ barrel = $280,000/ Day
$280,000 x 300 days = $84,000,000
$280,000 x 350 days = $98,000,000
