Well my 3rd purchase here today. Just a small one using dividend money from another investment but hopefully I will be feeling smug and not a mug one of these days! I don't have a truck or a farm ;-)

If it is a "silly price" tsmith2 you should be loading up the truck or betting the farm on it. Are you? Not sure I would as I am down already on my buys and the price could get even "sillier" at this rate! Now if I just had that elusive crystal ball lying around here somewhere ;-)

CFTC delayed updating their site but the Commitment of Traders for w/e 7 Nov now showing.
West Tex showed some big numbers contract-wise going thru but no major switch around at least with the 'smart money'.
There was a slight advantage on the long side with 44k contracts added to end with a total of 592k. Short positions added 36k contracts to end with a total of 642k.
Not a major swing either way and certainly not what I expected after the run up in crude that week.
Verdict - wouldn't expect any major swings in the crude price this week barring any geo-politic events.
