13/11/2017 08:26 | Who is this RH? | fernandesb
13/11/2017 08:19 | RNS out but I think it'd be better if we discuss RH's continued dumping and speculate on how many he has left to sell. Certainly the more interesting option. | boris cobaka

13/11/2017 07:53 | Not a dud , but agree, news of the P25 flow rate would have been helpful. "Platanillo-25, the 20(th) well of the Platanillo drilling campaign, has been successfully side tracked to a total depth of 8,620 ft measured depth, on time and budget. Preliminary log interpretation, using Schlumberger logging-while-drilli The side track located the production well further up dip, closer to the Platanillo 21 well, where better reservoir quality and additional pay thickness were found increasing the potential to deliver more sustainable production. 7" production casing has been successfully run and cemented and the Company expects to initiate commercial production from the U sand, to be evacuated through the OBA pipeline, in approximately 10 days" | sleveen

10/11/2017 21:50 | True, and I'm unsure if Paraguay will ever be a serious oil producer. | westmoreland lad
10/11/2017 18:03 | Thanks Westie. I have followed AMER for many years as there is the Paraguay connection with PPC. Unfortunately neither company prospered in Paraguay. :( | brasso3
10/11/2017 16:48 | Welcome Brasso -- bit of patience needed and you'll do fine here. | westmoreland lad

10/11/2017 11:23 | put a couple 50k buy orders in at 21.25...see if they are filled, off to beach now | currypasty
10/11/2017 10:27 | Took the plunge here today with ~50k. I have avoided AMER in the past as I did not think they were making solid progress. I now believe that they have turned the corner and if they can achieve average production of 7000 BOPD in the next few months this should be past 30p. | brasso3
10/11/2017 10:06 | fadilz, Yep, just creating theories, as I have a few ideas on how I can use your methodology to my own ends if it pans out. | al101uk
10/11/2017 09:41 | zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz Z I thought we'd put that record to bed - whatever Harbour is selling is pretty much irrelevant - the moment something justifies a much higher price (possibly Mariposa, possibly OBA throughput consistently over 7,00 bopd, etc.) the price will go higher on simple supply/demand economics. | aceuk
10/11/2017 09:32 | Charlie. I think you do not understand how notifications work. I explained yesterday why rule 26 would show the same holding as 12/10/17rns. So you just do not know what the current status of RH holding is as the notified Rule 26 is based on 12/10/17 holding company registrar as opposed to RH notified. I also explained the rules. So rule 26 showing after 22/20/17 contain that holding as that is all that Amerisur are required to do otherwise company registrar would ascertain holding for rule 26. Please look back at the post showing requirement wording. So the likelihood is rule 26 figures are only accurate to 12/20/17 as there has been no holdings notice from rh and AMER are not compelled to find out so use the latest registrar figures | foiledagain
10/11/2017 09:25 | Share price has tracked NPV from 60p in 2014 to 20p. Beyond that I need no other theories right now. NPV is on the up, and predictably so. share price is in an uptrend with a destination that I feel reasonably equipped to predict. That is all. I'm happy. So the RH trope is to me irrelevant. I'm more concerned with the value of my investment than with the ethics or motivation of RH - most of which is in any case speculative and unverifiable. FA does this line of discussion help you decide whether to buy or sell? If not, why bother? | fadilz
10/11/2017 08:57 | charlieeee, Thanks, so why wasn't Michinoko a substantial shareholder as at 30th June 2017? In fact they crossed 11% in April. Probably just sloppy I guess, but annoying non the less. | al101uk
10/11/2017 08:54 | What is either naive or manipulative, Foiled Again, is to keep banging on about some esoteric exception which does not apply in this case. Nobody is disputing that at the beginning of the year, RH offloaded into the "feel good" factor of OBA and increasing production. Nobody is disputing that this was being done sneakily and with the connivance of the company. The more sophisticated investors will understand that the company did this to avoid damaging sentiment. They were forced to comply with the rules by the angry mob, crying foul. They have complied ever since and using the accurate data now in the public domain, we can calculate averages for each period of reporting. What we can see is that for the 3 month period to 30th September 2017, when our share price cratered, RH was selling insignificant amounts on a daily basis. What we can also see from the latest major shareholder update is that the institutions were also all holding fast over the same period and that is good news. Other investors can draw what conclusions they please, but mine is that in a low volume period and with a miserable performance from the company, the regular traders here bailed and got themselves a better re-entry point: probably chartists, seeing the developing trend and exacerbating it by joining in on the party and nothing wrong with that. Fundamentals have finally taken a positive turn and the charts are reflecting this. More barrels and at a better margin = a better share price and going forward, it will be company performance and not RH that will determine the share price. The final word on RH is that he did not sell any shares in the first trading week of October (the information at 30th September and the RNS of 12th October show the same figures) and he has not sold into the recent rise in any size or we would get another holdings RNS, from the Registrar, who is on the case, with a professional reputation at stake (and a sitting duck to sue, for those of us who enjoy litigation). | charlieeee
10/11/2017 08:52 | I know, let's talk about my model instead. 30p+/-. Oh. No. I decided to be quiet for a while. Rats. | fadilz |
