One thing for sure directors don't throw this sort of cash in unless they are guaranteed a good profit :))) SP crazy cheap at current levels imo....im loading up while others wait and miss out! There are some big catalyst RNS's due that will send the share price much higher!!

Q low volume won't necessarily result in a falling share price

First NEX trade of the day snuck thru there. 102k - shown as a sell but looks from the timestamp to be a buy. That trade won't show in advfn total volume column so you need to add on.

& yet Boris, the share price continues to go sideways.

Going Bearish on Amer is as fraught with danger as going Bullish.......as someone said way way back, I think in GOO days..."it flatters to deceive".

I always thought all keyboards allowed the typing of "t" and "h" together to make "th" sound/spelling. But I digress...its a sunny day and maybe Mr Mystery seller (well not much of a mystery there lol) might just decide he has sold enough to buy into his next big investment....or is he saving it all to make a play for AMER? In the past value has been attributed on potential, the company didn't deliver on its own promises so now investors are more cynical. Amer has to deliver first then I believe investor appetite will follow.There is now a good chance that will happen.

they been talkin about doin offtake deal on oba for yonks but the other side of pipe is not capables

they gotta get ecuador pump house pipe sorted first

they had all year to sort this and they done nuffin

or they not told us nuffin

but they line their suit pockets with amer shares so i fink they know a big deal gonna be done to make better use of oba

Amerisur’s own stated objective in the most recent presentation is 20k in the medium term, which I don’t think means next year (forgetting for the moment their targets generally go a bit pear-shaped).
With regard to the OBA, Amer state there are three pumping problems to resolve, two of which are over the border. To date none are resolved and the company don’t seem very keen on updating investors on progress.
While the production remains ‘strangledR17; so will the value.

Bryet, quite right, the evidence is that future potential has no impact on share price. What matters is *current* reserves, production, and profit per barrel.

The production report for September (4k per day) puts us at about 20p.

But those of us willing to look to the future and to wait have a realistic chance for profit.

I agree future looks good and news today is great but there are still more sells than buys so many investers don't feel the same way perhaps one day they will get the message as long as it's sooner rather than later.
