17/10/2017 09:08 | on the breakout is when you'd want to see a surge in volume. With these sets stocks it can happen quite quickly after a fairly benign beginning. | boris cobaka
17/10/2017 08:37 | Aye boris, and if it is a flag it'll need much higher volumes to complete. M | marnewton
17/10/2017 08:28 | You cannot take much notice of reported volume as there is a lot of difference between real volume and reported volume | tyler durden1
17/10/2017 08:26 | Morning. There did appear to be a slightly different price action yesterday and even though it's early doors the old bid seems to experiencing a wee tickle... With very low volume at the mo it's always important to not read too much into it but it's certainly one to watch. | boris cobaka
16/10/2017 22:35 | Motley Fool: | bigwavedave
16/10/2017 21:28 | Looking for 200,000 barrels for Oct with CPO-5 adding another 30,000 November onwards....so 250,000 per month by year end with steady rise in WTI oil price towards $55+....we just need to achieve steady and consistent extraction for the last quarter with minimal downtime....30p by Xmas ?....not overly optimistic....follow | mintington
16/10/2017 20:00 | Looks like a strong run from Here all with lots of news due in a matter of days :)) put i expect October production levels and throughput to be the best so far!! | laptop15
16/10/2017 18:53 | First port of call 30p.. | tsmith2
16/10/2017 18:49 | And it certainly has the look of my hoped for flag pattern - a counter-trend parallelogram on diminishing volume;¬) M | marnewton
16/10/2017 18:40 | Agree FA The chart looks to be turning with price now rising above 13/25/50 dMA and close to 150/200 at around 21p Once it breaks 21 again, second attempt I will be a lot more confident. Wish RH was fully out but his holding is nearing inconsequential and institutional interest to buy must be gaining If oil really starts moving the share price will race up through mid 20s with ease I'm very optimistic even confident on the price of oil How long before these US shale producers reduce output dyt? | big7ime
16/10/2017 17:58 | Big7, All these stories you have to pick the bones out of. True though that Big Oil has suffered financially especially the bigger shale players and ironically the ones that shouted the most about profit oil at $30 seem to have walked a different walk in their accounts showing massive losses on shale, to what they were saying at meetings to raise finance, or to shareholders. Tempting fate but I believe Amerisur is over the worst | foiledagain
16/10/2017 16:52 | I will take that as a good day at the office for AMER ,slowly but surely common sense will prevail . | doughboy66
16/10/2017 16:09 | Tensions between Iraq and Kurdistan could drive up oil price short term at least. | juuunx2
16/10/2017 16:05 | FA that article is nonsense Oil price will rise as investment has been curtailed and Demand will start to exceed supply again I agree that AMER is an attractive proposition to an oil major and is petty cash to them, they will need to act quick though | big7ime
16/10/2017 13:40 | RNS in the pipeline. | dodge city
16/10/2017 13:36 | Simply put: dirt cheap | tsmith2
16/10/2017 13:31 | Nice tick up | kerri28
16/10/2017 11:09 | Likely unless you have seen holding announcement from him? But with under 6% left at £256m mkt cap. its a small chunk around £13m that might entice an organisation, but its too small a chunk for shorters to do that with impunity. I expect a whoosh as soon as the City decide its too dangerous to stay on the outside | tyler durden1
16/10/2017 10:51 | tyler so you're saying Harbour is still dumping his holding? How many more left? | boris cobaka
16/10/2017 09:23 | Tyler, I agree, the price dip has allowed me to buy more shares than I thought I would be able to....holding right now for next few years. There is a perfect storm coming; 20k per day in medium termhigher oil prices due to huge underinvestment over past few yearsCPO-5 wildcardBetter sentiment for small oil co'sRex one day stopping selling or running out of shares to sell? | acv74
16/10/2017 08:35 | Seldom in investing can you buy real investment a real steal the real deal Amerisur is like paying 19p out for a £1 as Harbour selling comes into range of institutions the City traders or Amerisur like a game of poker each waits for t'other to blink before buying all remaining shares in one go. leveraged traders cannot afford to get caught in upswing so will jump first fearing that if they do not someone else will and cause a cascade of momentum. Another order being worked | tyler durden1 |
