on the breakout is when you'd want to see a surge in volume.
With these sets stocks it can happen quite quickly after a fairly benign beginning.

You cannot take much notice of reported volume as there is a lot of difference between real volume and reported volume

There did appear to be a slightly different price action yesterday and even though it's early doors the old bid seems to experiencing a wee tickle...
With very low volume at the mo it's always important to not read too much into it but it's certainly one to watch.

The chart looks to be turning with price now rising above 13/25/50 dMA and close to 150/200 at around 21p
Once it breaks 21 again, second attempt I will be a lot more confident. Wish RH was fully out but his holding is nearing inconsequential and institutional interest to buy must be gaining
If oil really starts moving the share price will race up through mid 20s with ease
I'm very optimistic even confident on the price of oil

How long before these US shale producers reduce output dyt?

Big7, All these stories you have to pick the bones out of.

True though that Big Oil has suffered financially especially the bigger shale players and ironically the ones that shouted the most about profit oil at $30 seem to have walked a different walk in their accounts showing massive losses on shale, to what they were saying at meetings to raise finance, or to shareholders.

Tempting fate but I believe Amerisur is over the worst

Oil price will rise as investment has been curtailed and
Demand will start to exceed supply again
I agree that AMER is an attractive proposition to an oil major and is petty cash to them,they will need to act quick though

But with under 6% left at £256m mkt cap. its a small chunk around £13m that might entice an organisation, but its too small a chunk for shorters to do that with impunity.

I expect a whoosh as soon as the City decide its too dangerous to stay on the outside

Seldom in investing can you buy real investment a real steal the real deal

Amerisur is like paying 19p out for a £1 as Harbour selling comes into range of institutions the City traders or Amerisur like a game of poker each waits for t'other to blink before buying all remaining shares in one go.

leveraged traders cannot afford to get caught in upswing so will jump first fearing that if they do not someone else will and cause a cascade of momentum.
