Colombia falls well down the list in terms of murders, rated 11th, but falling behind countries like South Africa, Jamaica.

The last few years have seen falling rates of violence from the awful cartel days.

Funny you mention British Government as far more dangerous is Belize, where British soldiers regularly train.

Maybe. But this team has been in place for 10 years or so and seem confident that the risks are manageable. I would rather invest here than in Iraq.

I have no doubt that GC and pals have their exit strategy in place. It's just a question of when they intend to implement it.

A technical pull back is all guys don't worry the next elliots wave will soon start and we will make a higher higher....Wave 2 is starting to approach! I believe it will start upwards momentum from Wednesday or Thursday :)) its nothing to do with the news flow as its all been very good!

With the number of wells being proposed drilled, we should average about two rns's per month for the next year.I can't think that they'll all be good news but it will keep Amer in the news and the pot boiling. Even if only half produce, the challenge of getting the extra oil to market might perplex JW for a while. Q

FAdilzAgreed hopefully the social issues are resolved and we can ramp the production. My highest ever holding here so will sit it out for sure. Once we see a steady profit we should bounce nicely. Obviously the price of oil major factor here.

juuunx2 I completely agree - Sep was not great at 4k per day, and they do need to demonstrate that those pesky production/social problems really are 'behind them'. At 19-20p they are valued at the September rate.

On the basis of what they have told us, 6k+ during October, and 7k+ by year end, should be easily achievable. Question is when the market starts to price this in.

I'm prepared to wait, and glad to have added.

It's been a very good run...ending today with a rather BEARISH candlestick up against the falling (so resistance) 200 day SMA (red line) and the upper trendline of the long-term descending channel. As noted the other day, indicators are overbought.

I'm hopeful support will come in AROUND 20.00p.

If that is the case, a short period of consolidation forming a bull flag or pennant is the best scenario. That would target a minimum of 25.00p.

That's the ideal, and based on what I'm seeing today, quite likely.

'AROUND' - If you look back at the chart the lower horizontal support line is 19.50p.

'BEARISH' - Yesterday's price action was no surprise - inevitable really.

Further...it takes two closes below support (or above resistance) to confirm a breach.

I'm still hoping my 'ideal' scenario plays out.
