04/10/2017 00:31 | I thought the bright side was you could get away from B'ham 20 minutes quicker | tonyrelaxes
03/10/2017 23:31 | But look on the bright side...getting to Birmingham will take 20 minutes less time | lucyp00p
03/10/2017 21:55 | quid -- that would be a disaster. All those fond memories of our meetings with the likes of Beau and Val etc etc .. demolished! just for a chuffing railway line. | westmoreland lad
03/10/2017 21:10 | Quid - I've always thought that HS2 was an unnecessary, over-priced waste of space. But that confirms it. | bigwavedave
03/10/2017 20:24 | Apparently they are going to knock down the Bree Louise to make way for HS2.....Q | quidnunc
03/10/2017 19:35 | Not funny Lucypoop | 99barracuda
03/10/2017 16:42 | I've heard Vegas can be rough too | lucyp00p
03/10/2017 16:15 | dav. Not quite accurate. Colombia falls well down the list in terms of murders, rated 11th, but falling behind countries like South Africa, Jamaica. The last few years have seen falling rates of violence from the awful cartel days. Funny you mention British Government as far more dangerous is Belize, where British soldiers regularly train. | tyler durden1
03/10/2017 15:57 | I think its healthy pull back. Onwards and upwards soon. | filterwest
03/10/2017 15:53 | The big trades have been buys today, and yet this thing still wears lead boots. Very frustrating... | davwall
03/10/2017 15:53 | And down we go is this the start of the drift back to 15p?. | bryet
03/10/2017 15:46 | Maybe. But this team has been in place for 10 years or so and seem confident that the risks are manageable. I would rather invest here than in Iraq. I have no doubt that GC and pals have their exit strategy in place. It's just a question of when they intend to implement it. | blackdown2
03/10/2017 14:53 | A technical pull back is all guys don't worry the next elliots wave will soon start and we will make a higher higher....Wave 2 is starting to approach! I believe it will start upwards momentum from Wednesday or Thursday :)) its nothing to do with the news flow as its all been very good! | laptop15
03/10/2017 14:47 | With the number of wells being proposed drilled, we should average about two rns's per month for the next year.I can't think that they'll all be good news but it will keep Amer in the news and the pot boiling. Even if only half produce, the challenge of getting the extra oil to market might perplex JW for a while. Q | quidnunc
03/10/2017 13:36 | FAdilzAgreed hopefully the social issues are resolved and we can ramp the production. My highest ever holding here so will sit it out for sure. Once we see a steady profit we should bounce nicely. Obviously the price of oil major factor here. | juuunx2
03/10/2017 13:18 | juuunx2 I completely agree - Sep was not great at 4k per day, and they do need to demonstrate that those pesky production/social problems really are 'behind them'. At 19-20p they are valued at the September rate. On the basis of what they have told us, 6k+ during October, and 7k+ by year end, should be easily achievable. Question is when the market starts to price this in. I'm prepared to wait, and glad to have added. | fadilz
03/10/2017 12:39 | I think we need a good average flow next month to provide a bit of momentum. | juuunx2
03/10/2017 10:03 | It would be ironic if the beneficiaries of Val's estate were the one's dumping the shares at any price. | lucyp00p
03/10/2017 09:50 | Went to Mehmets bar last night and had a beer for Brian. They are still playing his CDs. Returned to apartment and watched Malcys interview with JW.It will come good I'm sure.Far too late for Brian but, I'm hanging in and buying in still.Q. | quidnunc

03/10/2017 08:40 | Read again: marnewton 29 Sep '17 - 18:32 - 4351 of 4407 3 0 Edit It's been a very good run...ending today with a rather BEARISH candlestick up against the falling (so resistance) 200 day SMA (red line) and the upper trendline of the long-term descending channel. As noted the other day, indicators are overbought. I'm hopeful support will come in AROUND 20.00p. If that is the case, a short period of consolidation forming a bull flag or pennant is the best scenario. That would target a minimum of 25.00p. That's the ideal, and based on what I'm seeing today, quite likely. ---------------- 'AROUND' - If you look back at the chart the lower horizontal support line is 19.50p. 'BEARISH' - Yesterday's price action was no surprise - inevitable really. Further...it takes two closes below support (or above resistance) to confirm a breach. I'm still hoping my 'ideal' scenario plays out. Hope this helps. M | marnewton
03/10/2017 00:27 | Thought it wasn't supposed to go below 20p Marne? | boris cobaka
