None of this is news. Interim aren't news as the monthly stats are out there. Mariposa is not news yet. Pipeline capacity is newsworthy if increased other than that I can't see Monday as transformative to anyone capable of a little homework unless GC is going.

Good results could lead to 15-20% rise IMO as share price is already way too low. Lots waiting to see as have lost confidence. I'm in already as too much good news due. JW wouldnt be doing an interview with Malcy if results were bad. So i expect them to be good and shock a few people. Hopefully take us back up to the 20s :))

all about RH selling. Even best figures not bring City buyers in if they knew more shares than could be soaked up. When there are not someone will scoopremainder for bloody massive profit and share price takes off

If the interims bring in a good profit then its boom time in my opinion!! Fortune favours the brave and I'm all in at the moment. Could share price drop lower? Yes is it likely from current levels? No....so now is the last chance to buy 16p AMER shares for quite sometime imo. Time will tell if I'm right or not but i believe there is going to be a huge change in momentum and a big increase in trading volumes.

Ave production in August was 5834 (up over 25% on the most optimistic H1 estimates); oil price continues to creep up; OBA flowed (albeit briefly) over 10k bopd; ...

Coiled-spring? or deceitful management hiding some bleak news?

Well the pundits are saying that South America is the go-to place for oil exploration at the moment.
All that is needed is for the punters to believe the pundits!

The selling has been going on for several months. If there was serious bad news in the offing, I suspect that a) volumes would have been much higher and b) the share price would be nearer 10p by now.

The interims are all yesterday's news, are they not? So I can't see any reason for getting excited about them. What is needed is decent (new) news and a change in sentiment. The fact that JW is doing presentations is a positive sign - but we shall have to wait and see, as usual.

Did Some figures on Production for interims MONDAY....If average monthly production is 4000 boepd x 180 days = 720,000 barrels x avg oil price of $50 per barrel = $36 million turnover....less costs of $15 per barrel x 720,000 × 180 day = $25.2 million profit.Do the same maths on average production of 5000 boepd x 180 days = 900,000 barrels x $50 = $45 million turnover less costs of $10.8 million = $34.2 million profit. You would more than likely have to minus and licence purchases, drill costs etc. But both calculations point the fact that Amerisur should make a heathly profit and add to there cash balance :))

Oil at $55, and set to rise to $60. IMO the share price is held back by production uncertainties. These will be significantly eased if AMER deliver on the 7k by year end, and CPO-5 long term test delivers on current promise. In which case I expect a doubling in share price
