Sentiment isn't affecting whole sector, Amerisur has dropped like a stone right back from director sells to current day and RH doing the selling allegedly.

H1 production, sales volumes and average prices already look likely to be significantly improved in H2 .... whether H1 figures or H2 forecasts are sufficient to awaken AMER from this slumber only time will tell.

This site uses guesswork to determine buys and sells. 2 trades, 2 minutes apart for same price treated differently. Don't read too much into it

Except when it goes through OBA where its approximated to WTI.

So not is transport cost important but even the price we get for the oil is better.


"Cash opex costs per barrel are expected to reduce from approximately $26 to under $15. In addition to the cost savings, Amerisur OBA and SOTE (Ecuadorian pipeline to the coast) exported crude will receive Oriente plus a quality compensation factor, which has historically approximated to WTI pricing. Current trucked production is sold as South Blend, which is at a discount to WTI."

Brent currently about USD 55.75 (not been over USD 56 yet)



WTI currently around USD 50.3 - Amerisur receive a slight discount to this
