I think we should be addressing why there is a persistent seller. My view is that the seller is unimpressed with our Board and in particular its Chairman, who appears to be content to draw an unjustifiable salary for what he appears to do. The company should pay a dividend and use more fully the assets it has established - the pipeline in particular. I hope there will be enough of us ready to prevent the Chairman's re-election when his tenure comes up for a vote.

Releasing pointless RNS updates is not the answer, this was tried a few months back and really just proved a waste of time and money. It's also a tried and tested tactic across AIM and usually one which is favoured by the fly by night companies looking for a quick rampfest. I would place AMER in a far higher category than that.

Whatever way you look at it, we are hugely undervalued in relation to our peers when you factor in our cash position, our past and present drilling success rate and our known net back on oil sales.

We know we have a seller or sellers which is holding us back and we know that our bod are not the most communicative where us pitiful PI's are concerned, however most importantly we also know that we are worth much much more than our current share price and ultimately that's the only show in town.

It's surely only a matter of when, rather than if, we finally move up and see the true value of this company.........

Lucy yes I said that a while back if they are starting to make profit only fair to return done to loyal share holders. share price on the fall again I think you may have to sell mrs as well as kids.

Every day we look to a more positive share price and nothing happens about time the bod got their act together even if it was just to release a positive runs saying there is no reason for the share price being so low.....or is there?.

It's going to take a lot to shift this significantly on the 25th. The only thing that might get it on the move is a very bullish update on Mariposa 1 ie. good flow rates, confirmation that it is a big field, and accelerated programme of drilling to further develop/explore the prospect. Otherwise we will remain stuck in the doldrums along with most other oil stocks in a sector that is generally out of favour.
