04/5/2017 10:18 | Toon,, the Amer story just gets better and better ,, the rh sell out troubles me ,, are they going to try and buy us out on the cheap ,, there's a reason why Amer have booked every room in the hotel (21),, it ain't going to be a normal agm,, either there's a bid on the table or Giles has a grand plan ,, a few months ago Giles said , amer would probably end up as part of a larger oil company one day ,, was that a heads up ? | trotting12
04/5/2017 10:17 | O&G1; the Agm is on the 9th not the 8th so don't turn up a day early Q | quidnunc
04/5/2017 09:45 | Plat 8 originally tested at 411 bopd (oh, did they not mention that?), reduced to 108bopd and now improved to 350bopd. Apparently a 15% decline in production rate is a success? Platanillo-9, originally 730bopd Platanillo-12, originally 1450bopd Platanillo-5, originally 1500bopd Platanillo-14, announced that was to be tested and placed on commercial production, but we never had an RNS to confirm production rates (I went back and checked). So there have been issues with the shut in wells, three on my list with a good amount of production have seen declines of potentially 75%(?). The RNS reads like we already have this information, I'm guessing the great and the good did have this information but it wasn't deemed important enough for us PI's. Plat 22 producing 100bopd more than originally tested, great, but hardly RNS'able, pretending that's the main story here is just trying to pull the wool over the eyes of investors. Looks like very little change in communication to me, disgusted that they put this out pre-agm. In in my opinion because it had to be released pre-agm as it is price sensitive news and a question from the floor would have been very embarrassing. Quicker this company gets taken out the better. Going to quietly seethe in a corner somewhere. | al101uk
04/5/2017 09:44 | I would say fair value for the share, based on information issued over the last few months, is about 30p. I don't think this is being wildly optimistic. If this is correct, or about right, then this would imply that the share price is being restrained for some reason, to the tune of about 25%. | blackdown2
04/5/2017 08:29 | We've still not had news of who the seller is/was.. | tsmith2
04/5/2017 08:25 | I agree trotting12, risk of low bid here I think | retailronnie
04/5/2017 08:21 | On cue, the seller appears. | blackdown2
04/5/2017 08:05 | Get on board | lucyp00p
04/5/2017 07:57 | More great news from Amer ,,,,we would of been pushing 50p by now if it wasn't for the seller ,,,personally I think we've been softened up for a bid ,, | trotting12
04/5/2017 07:42 | CPO news before AGM? | tsmith2
04/5/2017 07:32 | Absolutely... | francis55
04/5/2017 07:24 | 600k is output, $30,000,000 is turnover. That's got to be worth something on the share price | lucyp00p
04/5/2017 07:20 | All positive on Plat 22 with Plat 21 only 20 days away from results and amazing news on Plat 8 with the treatment process tripiling the output to 300bopd. Lets hope this treatment works on the 4 other wells with similar flow issues as thats an additional 70k barrels per year from Plat 8 only - times this by the other 4 wells once treated and we have an extra 350k barrels pa uplift.Add that to the 700bopd from Platt 22 240k pa and we have an additional 600k per annum to add to our turnover that was not forecast. | francis55
04/5/2017 07:15 | All this news flow....one would think there is an AGM fast approaching that may be a bit volatile!! | bibdaddy
04/5/2017 07:15 | Seriously good news | tsmith2
03/5/2017 21:01 | I'm "over here" and free in London any evening until 15th (except possibly the evening before the AGM - maybe ML can arrange one for then!). | tonyrelaxes
03/5/2017 17:28 | AGM on 08May AMER are afraid of a shareholder revolt based on the last 12 months performance, a vote of no confidence and we should be encouraging IIs to push this agenda. We should come up with a key list of questions that some people who attend might ask..if you would be so kind 😎 A few questions for starters 1. OBA: what is the current status and impact of the RODA debottlenecking issue and when will it be resolved? 2. OBA: what is the plan to address and fund the RODA pumping station? are there any other OBA flow limiting issues and how and when are these being addressed? 3. Are there any active opportunities to source 3rd party oil and put it through the OBA pipeline? 4. Can Amer management publish and updated drilling plan for the next 12 months (approx by location and by month) with regular monthly RNS updates? (this will help build confidence and investment in the share) 5. What is the plan for shut In wells (are we waiting on pad 5 interconnectivity and when will this happen at this suspended set of wells brought into production? | oilandgas1
03/5/2017 13:40 | In order to plan ahead would you both please propose a date for Ruby ? | westmoreland lad
03/5/2017 12:08 | Interesting. The companies have two things in common. 03-05-17 Sovereign Mines of Africa PLC (AIM:SMA), announces that the Company has changed its registered office to: Lakeside Fountain Lane, St Mellons, Cardiff, United Kingdom, CF3 0FB. Amerisur Resources plc Lakeside St Mellons Cardiff CF3 0FB Moneylender !! –- will there now be TWO tea ladies ? | westmoreland lad
03/5/2017 11:49 | MY guess for the 'Block booking' is to guarantee votes for GC and co just in case the turbulence stretches to Castleton. GC talked about retirement seven years ago. Now he is there. I wonder if he could be encouraged? Doubt it voluntarily. Ruby of course. More the better. Looking like Mid-Late May now. Might even be there for the election..fun times. Hard line figureheads to the right of me and.. and socialists in charge in Ecuador. ha ha. Need some new territory, for sure, without environmental/eco hassle. | valentine
03/5/2017 10:43 | You never know their recent improved communication efforts may be continued at the agm..... | meneither2 |
