13/3/2017 22:57 | Thank you for taking time to set up a new thread, although I don't say much I appreciate the views and info shared by most contributors :) | 3roach
13/3/2017 22:46 | Well done Al for setting up the new tread. No disrespect to Beau / Monty who I met once at a ruby -- nice guy and sharp n' smart but too busy to monitor the thread. Welcome home ML and gl - not that you'll need much luck as Trotts said @ c 20p and hello to LR2 and Yufff -- glad to see you both about !! | westmoreland lad
13/3/2017 20:51 | stay short. | blueball
13/3/2017 20:13 | Amerisur about 5 mins, 56 secs in. | bigwavedave
13/3/2017 20:13 | If there's anybody else interested in jumping in hereabouts there is support in the area of 19.50p going back to 2001/2002/2006/2010/ Very oversold, but bullish divergence now only on MACD. I'm still waiting... M | marnewton
13/3/2017 18:50 | Was only half right last time Dave, shouldn't have sold out @ 20p, 40, 50 or even 60p and I would have been 100% right. Fingers crossed this time around, I could do with a bit of luck tbh. | moneylender
13/3/2017 18:05 | moneylender: re #47771 on the other bb - no, I don't think you are ;-) You've called this one right in the past; I suspect you don't it again. ...bwtfdik? | bigwavedave
13/3/2017 18:02 | al101uk - thanks for the new thread. You may not be able to moderate the muppets, however. I believe you have to be an advfn paying subscriber to the do that. I'm not here to defend Malcy (he can do that himself) but he's not a journalist. Call me old-fashioned (coz I am) but having a blog or being a media commentator doesn't make you a journalist. Not a bona fide one, anyway. | bigwavedave
13/3/2017 17:18 | ML, thanks, I agree it doesn't look great at first glance. I know a placing is likely coming from recent interview given by the chairman so more money should be arriving soon. The key product, TexRAD, is about to go commercial after a successful research phase and the board plus friends hold around 60% of company. Apparently lots of income arriving post interim results cut off date according to board. Gut feeling tells me share price could be near bottom at present. From the interim results, "We therefore expect there to be a substantial increase in TexRAD-related revenue in the second half of the current financial year and growth in our revenue for the year as a whole." Apologies to other readers for off topic chat but haven't bumped into ML in quite some time and he is a person I hold in high regard. | lr2
13/3/2017 17:09 | Lost trust in the guy since the bottleneck presentation (no matter what the situation I think it was important enough to be mentioned by him as a journalist and clarified by the management team to those not in attendance), but his view is that there is plenty of capacity before a new pump station is required. hxxp://www.malcysblo Needless to say that would eliminate one of my concerns, the details of the negotiation still remain a risk in my view. No one commented on my post re page 14 of the presentation: "Design Volume (OBA & VHR reception) 50,000 BOPD; 18,000 BOPD pumping capacity currently installed" Are we all clutching at straws to justify a horrendous price drop? Is there 18k bopd pumping capacity up for grabs? Is a persistent seller and negative sentiment really all there is to it? | al101uk
13/3/2017 16:32 | LR2 just read this from chairmans statement!!! We are pleased to present the interim results for the six months ended 30 November 2016. Revenue for the six months period was GBP203,000 (2015: GBP225,000) and the loss after tax was GBP126,000 (2015: Loss GBP143,000). The loss before interest, tax and amortisation was GBP115,000 (2015: Loss GBP132,000). The cash balance at 30 November 2016 was GBP63,000 (30 November 2015: GBP164,000). Revenue is 200K and the operating loss is 126k!! Not a good ratio in my mind!! and they had 63K left in the bank?? Unless things have dramatically improved I would walk away. | moneylender
13/3/2017 16:19 | Your all grand people. Its over sold and cant get any momentum thats why it's flat and delivering the business back into profit will bring new investers but be prepared for the treeshake before hand.. now i did that without a single swear word.. | francis55
13/3/2017 16:12 | You weren't the only one to do that ML. Sold up there the moment oil payments got delayed. Still ended up with a nasty loss. ML, have a look at FDBK please. I'd appreciate your view on the company. | lr2
13/3/2017 16:03 | Hey Yuff I'm good hope you are to. 5 million, no, 2 Million yes, put most of it into a oil Co in Kurdistan, just before IS moved in and massacred everyone. | moneylender
13/3/2017 15:09 | Amerisur Resources made two announcements at the end of last week both of which should have pleased the market. February production was 4,262 b/d of which 3,554 went through the OBA and that number is now over 4,100 apparently. There is still substantial scope to increase that number and discussions about a pumping station are under way in case that becomes necessary. The second announcement was that the Platanillo-22 well is imminent after a number of social issues (involving ‘appropriate crop planting’) have been resolved. This is more good news as the extension would extend the Platanillo field and produce more high valued barrels of crude oil. At 20.5p AMER shares are ludicrously cheap although I understand from a market trader that there has been a persistent seller which might square a couple of circles, but this is an outstanding buy at these prices. Malcy email today. | paleje
13/3/2017 15:09 | Malcy says "ludicrously cheap." | bigwavedave
13/3/2017 14:19 | Trotting try it now I have turned it on! | moneylender
13/3/2017 14:07 | Ml ,, give me a bell ,, your old number isn't working | trotting12
13/3/2017 14:06 | Ml ,, give me a bell ,, your old number isn't working | trotting12
13/3/2017 14:05 | Ml ,, you thief !!! | trotting12
13/3/2017 13:59 | He's back... tee hee.The low price is because the share is oversubscribed and can gain no momentum until a major new buyer or a company buy back come to the rescue. Long term the business is doing fine and will return to profit all be it slowly. The BoD could be drawn in a but on over zealous forecasts... | francis55
13/3/2017 13:31 | Cheers Yuff and Val. Nice to be back, never thought I would buy back at same price I sold at before! | moneylender
13/3/2017 13:30 | Getting rid of the idiots and having an up to date header was what did it. Francis deserves most of the credit. If it dies, I'll use it for my own musings and talk to myself ;-) | al101uk |
