21/8/2024 12:07 | From an accounting perspective the $40m is mainly germane to depreciation schedules. | nicholasblake
21/8/2024 11:50 | I wonder if the board will issue any guidance using the $40m as a benchmark. Looks like Emirates will only be buying and not extending any leases. | scrwal
21/8/2024 08:24 | Nice breakout developing | mattjos
21/8/2024 06:25 | Emirates purchased the last 4 A380s from Doric Nimrod at the end of the lease for approx USD 40 Million each | gosoftly7
17/8/2024 08:44 | Sorry meant no 11. Their recommendation for funds to outperform in the rest of 2024 are Doric 2 and 3 because of the lease renewals with Emirates - and they hold both in multiple funds now. Same argumentation can apply to AA4 with the downside of the balloon payments needed and the (large) upside of the A350s valuation anomaly. | andyandyoj
16/8/2024 16:56 | There is no 12 only to 6 | petewy

16/8/2024 14:28 | And dividend is currently guaranteed up until mid 2026, if then it does continue at the same rate, and it is 'if' depending on how the re-leasing goes, we could be then looking at a firmer share price. So things at 48.5p do look very positive. | clive7878
14/8/2024 13:31 | 50p is still 16% dividend has a way to go yet IMHO | senttothegallows
14/8/2024 10:56 | Let's see if we can have another crack at 49p soon which would be 3rd/4th time of asking over last 18 months | mattjos
09/8/2024 14:37 | If Emirates are looking to upgrade all of its A380's that dont have Premium Economy seats then it could mean that they intend to fly them for some years to come, which may help the situation when it comes to renewal of the contracts, which could reflect in the improving share price in 2026 if the renewal facts are positive. If it was a 5 year renewal and the dividend was still good then the share price could be then undervalued. | clive7878
09/8/2024 14:31 | If Emirates get the A350's is that detrimental for AA4 when the leases come up for renewal, especially if and they probably will be more fuel efficient - we are still 2 years away from this at the moment. There is a delay in the production at present of new planes and this has come right from the top from Airbus. The question is how long will they take to produce and go into service. The leases though expire one at a time fortunately over a period of time. | clive7878
09/8/2024 06:25 | Those were pretty downbeat comments. Re: potential for excess capacity despite a shortage of new aircraft and spares, and recent sale prices for A380 not be helpful. Perhaps he wants to talk the share price down and buy some for himself, or more charitably just wants to put a lid on expectations. It's a hold for me until the next DNA2 lease expires/news of sale or extended lease. | grahamg8
07/8/2024 15:47 | More delays to A350s hxxps://onemileatati | andyandyoj
02/8/2024 13:13 | Not sure you can trust the breakdowns here !Many's the time I've had a buy listed as a sell and vice versa | panshanger1
02/8/2024 13:07 | Must be a reason with nearly all sells today why the MM are holding the price, at least for the current time. | clive7878
31/7/2024 16:21 | Still below DNA2 and DNA3 on a 5y and 12m basis by 10+%. But curiously outperforming on a 2y basis. Make of it what you will. | grahamg8
31/7/2024 13:08 | Getting close to June 2023 share price now ! Where to now ? | clive7878
31/7/2024 09:33 | suspect a fair amount of the dividend cash will get re-invested over next few days as it arrives into various shareholder accounts | mattjos

30/7/2024 13:53 | IC obviously behind a paywall but, this is what you can see of the article: Small Companies Lock in this 18% yield that won't last for long Published on July 29, 2024 by Simon Thompson - Flat NAV of £339mn (111.5p) - Aircraft fleet valued at £1bn - Net debt cut a fifth to £669mn - 61 per cent discount to NAV - 18.3 per cent dividend yield Annual results from aircraft leasing fund Amedeo Air Four Plus (AA4:43.75p) highlight a valuation anomaly that is likely to unwind in the coming 12 months for multiple reasons. First, the fund’s fleet of 12 aircraft includes four A350-900s leased to Thai Airways until 2035. The planes generate £26.7mn of rental income which services the finance charge on low-interest secured borrowings of $344mn (£268mn) as well as reducing the debt secured on the aircraft. Amedeo’s investment manager estimates the four Thai planes have a current value of $111mn each, implying the fund holds at least $100mn (£78mn) of retained equity. To put that into perspective, it equates to 23 per cent of Amedeo’s net asset value (NAV) of £339mn and 59 per cent of the company’s market capitalisation of £133mn........ | mattjos |
