14/5/2024 09:25 | Definitely feels as if this is firming up Weiss adding has helped Minded to add a few | panshanger1
09/5/2024 15:57 | That was in their latest announcement: "The premium economy product has so far won multiple awards and is available on 27x A380 aircraft flying to 15 destinations including New York JFK, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Houston, London Heathrow, Sydney, Auckland, Christchurch, Melbourne, Singapore, Tokyo, Mumbai, Bangalore, Sao Paulo and Dubai. Emirates has selected and the Company has formally consented for MSNs 187, 201, 206, 208, & 42334 to undergo the premium economy retrofit. Emirates has yet to confirm the installation of the retrofit for the selected aircraft." | louis brandeis
09/5/2024 15:53 | Ah yes thanks - had not spotted that. That could have changed with their latest announcement but sounds v good | andyandyoj
09/5/2024 15:31 | It was mentioned in the fact sheet and I looked at the inventory and the aircraft on the shortest remaining leases and the long dated lease were omitted. I was wondering whether we could read anything into this. | louis brandeis
09/5/2024 15:23 | Is there a link for those put forward? | andyandyoj
09/5/2024 15:08 | So some of the A380s have been put forward for refits but not all. The short-dated lease aircraft for example and one of the longer dated. I wonder why? | louis brandeis
09/5/2024 08:57 | I’m a fan of aa4. But the quote in the link is more than 5 years old (Willy Walsh is not at BA any longer). | andyandyoj
09/5/2024 08:05 | Link is a bit long winded but BA has plans to buy 6 more A380s and upgrade current fleet of 12. | langland
08/5/2024 22:54 | RNS makes AA4 looks promising going forward and the share price is now beginning to firm up. I can see more mileage in the share price to come. | clive7878
08/5/2024 08:24 | It's there now. | verulamium
08/5/2024 08:06 | With new production throttled surely now a no brainer ? | ydderf
08/5/2024 07:51 | Indeed.....RNS says it is on the website.....but I can not see it. | 11_percent
08/5/2024 07:40 | can`t see the factsheet..... | robsy2
08/5/2024 07:27 | RNS.....Factsheet. | 11_percent
07/5/2024 22:50 | Net Asset value over £1 per last account, share price less than 40p dividend yield 20% per annum to July 2026 this should be significantly higher than 40p in my opinion. No Surprise to see a takeover here | retirementfund
07/5/2024 20:46 | Emirates boss again calling out Boeing. There is no hope for those hanging on 777-9 as their 747 replacements. I would really like to see some of the other airlines with a wide body shortage getting keen on any A380s that come on the market to push Emirates wallet open. I hope the company is busy marketing availability. | hpcg
07/5/2024 13:34 | hxxps://www.flightgl | andyandyoj
03/5/2024 17:25 | It is difficult to anticipate going forward the share price & asset value, although the dividend payment is more predictable - as least up to the renewal of the leases. Is the share price now levelling out after the gradual fall in share price from 47p, next week will tell ? | clive7878
03/5/2024 11:41 | clive - that isn't quite the totality of the question. Each individual aircraft is within its own company. This creates a lot of nuance, where for each unit values below the bullet payment are 0, but above are linear with the difference. The non-A380 units are very clearly much more valuable now than they would have perceived to have been a) when the 777 were purchased, and b) when Thai came out of special administration. We could structure an A380 deal that makes the first disposed of, or indeed last disposed of, well below the line, whilst others are well above. It makes no difference to Emirates, but a lot to shareholders. | hpcg
02/5/2024 13:17 | Then it's about demand and valuation then | panshanger1
02/5/2024 13:16 | Given the board have said that extending the leases would be difficult and carry significant execution risk and cost That leaves an outright sale of the aircraft ? | panshanger1
02/5/2024 13:13 | Yes, that is encouraging to say the least. | hpcg
02/5/2024 12:21 | Re-assuring to see Weiss adding. They are no fools. | langland |
