02/7/2024 17:03 | Ok so let's speculate... This is what they said for Q1- Production volumes were strong with both mined and milled ore increasing 11% YoY to 154.8kt and 129.7kt respectively. Gold grade increased to 2.17g/t. The improvement is driven by positive mix effect from accumulated stock piles as well as grade recovery from underlying operations which increased to 2.08g/t from 1.92g/t in 1Q23. As a result, volume of gold poured expanded 25% YoY to 7,370/oz. Revenues for the quarter increased 41% YoY to US$15.7m primarily on stronger sales which expanded 28% YoY to 7,546/oz (1Q2023: 5,902/oz). The average selling price also increased 10% YoY to $2,083/oz (1Q2023: US$1,889/oz) in line with positive momentum in gold price globally. The processing plant expansion is progressing well and in line with budget. | excellance
02/7/2024 17:01 | Greatland hit 37p before falling to 7p and still valued at 380 million compared to our 40 million. I've got no reason to sell unless Putin starts invading or trump starts firing nuclear weapons. | louie2010
02/7/2024 17:00 | Happy days… | gizmohican
02/7/2024 16:59 | I agree, imo half Years results expecting to be similar to qtr 1, qtr 3 results should start to look tasty but don’t think we will see true capacity figs until final qtr. T.S for me is the fancy icing on the cake and will drive the speculative trades and should set the higher motion upwards | gizmohican
02/7/2024 16:56 | If you look at Cey and greatland gold valuation this is very low , if news is coming soon then share price will rocket you can see in greatland and Cey . Excellannie clown has wise words of wisdom let's c hope he/she is right. | louie2010
02/7/2024 16:51 | Hard to know how much time we have before the next release, or if the next release will be positive enough to push prices higher. Q2 results will probably be released in August, but due to the recent bonds announcement indicating that something is brewing maybe we'll get news this week? If the company is serious about getting a mine producing at TS within two years then they have to crack on, and so my money is on a TS and Seki update very soon with news of bond sales and what the money is for. Exciting times! | excellance
02/7/2024 16:48 | But dependant on news of course | gizmohican
02/7/2024 16:46 | Looking for high 2’s / low 3,s before I start slicing | gizmohican
02/7/2024 16:44 | Will be looking to pick up another £8.5 worth but hoping for a wee retrace so I can keep me average as low as poss | gizmohican
02/7/2024 16:31 | I expect Louise will dump his 74 million shares as soon as he break even. | excellance
02/7/2024 16:29 | £15 at least. | louie2010
02/7/2024 16:18 | I wonder how far this current spike upwards will go before taking a breather? The chart currently looks very topsy, but we all know why. If our expectations are met, and production improves dramatically, and if costs are still reasonable low after the dust of development has settled, the share price should rocket a lot higher... The obvious impulse is to take a little profit when a chart looks like this, it's text book top slice trading, but I don't think I will be selling any, I hope I don't regret it. Tempted to buy more but I've got quite a few as it is, so I sit nervously and await the news, good or bad... | excellance
02/7/2024 16:09 | It "sets the stage", meaning that a dividend is possible, but they won't make that decision until then. | excellance
02/7/2024 15:59 | Yes, but that just promises the dividend won’t be before they reach 1mtpa, it doesn’t say how long after. The AGM is their latest communication on dividend strategy, which remains non-committal wrt timing. | tim000
02/7/2024 15:52 | Divi will be paid once they reach 1mtpa. After the $40m financing 2 years ago… Altyn's CEO Aidar Assaubayev commented: "The goal was to obtain the necessary financing at competitive terms and in the best interest of shareholders. After exploring a number of opportunities and an extensive due diligence period we are very pleased to update our shareholders on the funding approval. The proceeds will accelerate our growth strategy by expanding production and processing capacity towards our midterm target of 1mtpa. Timely execution of this ambitious plan should set the stage for a sustainable dividend policy." | trader465
02/7/2024 14:45 | Our share price was over 1.50 last Jan 2023 with no real news besides from qtrly production figs, seriously believe once new processing plant is up and running fully our share price will shift big time | gizmohican
02/7/2024 14:29 | Yes, it’s not a problem given the return on investment; the real point is that it’s an excellent time to raise debt finance. Both because gold prices are high and because US dollars buy a lot of mine investment. | tim000
02/7/2024 14:20 | tim000 The interest rate is not really a concern IMHO as it would be with other companies where there would be share warrants/options attached. When it is spent on production increases with the present gold price there should be one helluva margin. Looking forward to whatever news must be coming in the next few weeks. | goldrush
02/7/2024 13:13 | Another facet of the bond issue I should have mentioned is that, while the interest rate is slightly high at 11.25%, the US$ proceeds will acquire 7% more Kazakh currency than 2 months ago. And the proceeds will be fully spent on investment in Kazakhstan. So it could be argued that the effective cost of the issue to Altyn is much less. (It’s likely that some of the capex will be on materials and equipment whose prices will increase due to tenge depreciation, but probably not one-for-one.) And of course effectively we repay the debt and interest payments with our US$ priced gold production. | tim000
02/7/2024 13:04 | 143/151 is the current spread, slightly increased volume from next to nothing to slightly more than next to nothing...not sure if trading is limited by demand or poor supply, hard to buy or sell outside of 3000 shares. | excellance
02/7/2024 13:00 | Given that the current share price is at the top of the three year chart it is not surprising if some folk derisk a little, or a lot, but I think we are only at the beginning of a longer term re-rate, tho I thought that 3 and 5 years ago too. A slow and steady growth plan is now about to show first fruit after a couple of years of green shoots, but there's a lot more to come. | excellance
02/7/2024 12:44 | L2 The 176 shares on offer got taken out at 150p so that is setting the price at the moment.... Nice wide spread 141p vs 151p although the MMs will deal within the spread........let's see how things develop. Once they have filled the book build for the bond tomorrow maybe more news might be forthcoming on it's specific use. Level of demand etc could be interesting.... Exciting times methinks. | goldrush
02/7/2024 12:30 | Louie think you misread. It wasn't 5.1 shares gizmodo said he had..... | researchcentre123 |
