26/6/2024 08:27 | dofmeister. The company issued a decent CPR in 2019 giving details of Teren-Sai Highlights The CPR includes JORC Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves estimates totaling: • Proved Ore Reserves of 0.80 million ounces (“Moz”) - 10.20 million tonnes (“Mt”) at an average gold grade of 2.43 grams/ tonne (“g/t”); • Probable Ore Reserves of 0.65Moz - 6.23Mt at an average gold grade of 3.25g/t; • Measured and Indicated Mineral Resources of 1.48Moz - 15.84Mt at an average gold grade of 2.91g/t; • An Exploration Target of 1.03Moz- 9.28Mt at an average gold grade of 3.46g/t. | pensionplanner
26/6/2024 08:19 | It is quite bizarre that we are priced lower now than back then. | excellance
26/6/2024 06:49 | I’ve been scrolling back through the history of the thread. In fact I was the first poster other than excellance. Excellance’s post number 5016 (1/12/20) still holds up well today, other than the final para referring to pog. On the back of that excellent advice, I’m inclined to add again today. | tim000
25/6/2024 23:45 | Yes, but they switched zones from zone 5 to zone 2, however the gold price has risen significantly since 2019 | excellance
25/6/2024 22:36 | Makes you think though, if TS had returned huge results from drilling they would have needed to issue an RNS... | dofmeister
25/6/2024 18:43 | They've also been drilling TS for 3 years plus since the last 2019 CPR, which needs updating.... | dofmeister
25/6/2024 18:37 | I don't think any of the family or short of a few quid so I doubt they'll make reckless short term decisions after the patient work of the last decade. For me TS is a great unknown, clearly important to the company but perhaps way too big for a minnow like ALTN to ever be able to afford a full and thorough development plan without significant help from outside. TS has been poked at for several years, several zones, reasonable looking grades, but do we have the available human capital, capex clout, or even expertise, to manage Seki plus multiple TS pits several km apart. I strongly believe that ALTN need help, and that the lack of full disclosure indicates that a NDA is in place with a third party. Again just my opinion but the situation is opaque and needs clarifying. | excellance
25/6/2024 18:14 | I expect Q2 to show significant improvement, but Q3 will be a better guage I expect. Not sure of the exact date when the new plant got up and running to full capacity without interruption, but these things tend to have teething problems and show up bottlenecks which take a little time to iron out. | excellance
25/6/2024 18:09 | Q2 is 3 days from closing and the best revenue quarter beckons. Any confirmation of step change DOUBLE PRODUCTION and the share price should go parabolic. Expecting to see a significant re-rate in 2024 - no advice intended. | golden prospect
25/6/2024 17:27 | Like tim I have also picked up a few thousand today for my pot without chasing the price. excellance With the price of gold and the expansion on plan the family will be confident that they can move things forward speedily....with TS there must be things going on....Polymetal and what PensionPlanner says about Uranium could well be in vogue and the family have a strong hand....let's see.... | goldrush
25/6/2024 17:10 | I don't disagree. I am very keen and in fact excited about the prospects at TS which the company have stated to be "key" and "very valuable" and they have also stated that they intend to begin production from TS "within two years", but that is a back story compared to the current production increase which should give ALTN significant financial leverage to both fund Seki phase 3 and/or TS phase 1, but the company remains coy about quantifying TS up to now despite numerous drilling programs in multiple zones. I don't get why they'd be so coy if TS is key, unless there is something they can't tell us...and this is where the speculation of Polymetal or other partner involvement may have legs...but the company could clear this up with a single RNS. | excellance
25/6/2024 16:40 | Excellence, whilst agree in the main re: speculation, the grades that have been done from the drilling of just one section of TS look good | pensionplanner
25/6/2024 16:32 | I predicted this rise weeks ago . Hence why I bought more . | louie2010
25/6/2024 16:30 | I think you find share price rise is linked to buys . Your opinion is wrong market moves on its own not make believe news . | louie2010
25/6/2024 16:22 | Regardless of uranium or TS speculation the current optimism and rising share price is motivated by expectations of a considerable increase in production at a time when the price of gold is at or near all time highs. | excellance
25/6/2024 13:59 | As additional information Uranium naturally occurs with average concentration of 2.8 parts per million in the Earth's crust. Traces of it occur almost everywhere. It's more abundant than gold, silver or mercury on par with tin and slightly less so than cobalt, lead or molybdenum. But it is particularly associated with the geology that occurs in Sekisovskoye and TS and given Kazakhstans abundant production of it, which is an increasingly valuable commodity I believe its valid information. | pensionplanner
25/6/2024 13:49 | excellence. I have now raised the potential for uranium with the family. trader: Did I ever post that the family had mentioned uranium? Did I ever suggest someone suggested uranium? I however do because the geology supports the potential for it, and with all the pre milled material at Sekisofvskoye let alone the potential of the 200+ sq. km TS was I considered a valid point and still do. I legitimately mentioned the potential for uranium as the geology is a breccia formation which is a known geology for both precious metals and uranium. The fact that Sekisovskoye will have significant spoils of milled material and has that geological formation must make it being worth considered and tested, and likewise TS is I believe viable as the original tests on just section 2 of the 15 potential targets gave very creditable results for gold and silver, but where in my opinion its well worth considering uranium being that Kazakhstan is a major uranium producer and its unlikely that the breccia has absolutely no trace of uranium, but to what extent we don't know, but where it would certainly be a valuable diversion, especially on pre milled material which would then only require acid leaching. I can of course emulate some posters and just post inane rubbish if that is preferable. | pensionplanner
25/6/2024 13:41 | “Recently someone suggested” 🤷a There are no plans for uranium, has the company ever mentioned uranium in a statement? Atlyn PLC changed to Atlyngold PLC because they’re looking for uranium 🤣🤣 | trader465
25/6/2024 13:18 | Uranium would be a very nice bonus, but I am more excited about the new processing plant and its increased capacity, supposedly coming online this coming qtr. | gizmohican
25/6/2024 13:13 | Excellence. Recently someone suggested Altyn had indicated potential diversification and where uranium would make sense as currently our assets are in a known uranium geology. Kazakhstan is a major producer of uranium and where having milled and extracted gold it would be interesting to essay for Uranium especially on spoils as that would greatly minimise cost of extraction TS too has breccia geology let alone better gold essays. Excuse any predictive text faults as not near a computer at present | pensionplanner
25/6/2024 13:08 | PP mentioned it in an earlier post, just need to scroll back a little. It’s not so much a rumour as speculation based on the local geology. | tim000 |
