Where did the uranium rumour come from?

KS, unlike SRB I can’t see any management staff messing with the Assaubayevs. Misbehaviour by managements is common, eg issuing themselves zero-cost options at depressed prices following woeful performance. The Assaubayevs don’t do that and take very little in the way of remuneration. Their eyes are on the bigger prize of a 20x higher share price.

I am too impatient to ease back on the throttle and bought another 4k this morning. The potential here is enormous, should the company state that uranium is in play we introduce a whole new class of investor. An exciting future for the patient - and even people like me.

There will be up days and down days, but the real prize comes with a maiden dividend even notional, and from TS.

I'd be interested and will ask whether they've undertaken tests on the spoils for Uranium presence.

I used to have an investment in SRB. They are mining at much higher grades, but narrow vein mining so they have to be selective about what they're processing.

I sold out after it came to light there had been an accounting 'misshap' where the CFO and other finance staff stole a couple of million out of the company coffers, which wasn't discovered till years later! Figured it was uninvestable after that, but they have had a strong rise on progress towards opening up a second mine recently? They don't have nearly the size of resource as ALTN.

We might see a similar rise in time.

AltynGold is pleased to announce its 1Q2024 production update.Production volumes were strong with both mined and milled ore increasing 11% YoY to154.8kt and 129.7kt respectively.Gold grade increased to 2.17g/t. The improvement is driven by positive mix effect fromaccumulated stock piles as well as grade recovery from underlying operations which increasedto 2.08g/t from 1.92g/t in 1Q23. As a result, volume of gold poured expanded 25% YoY to7,370/oz.Revenues for the quarter increased 41% YoY to US$15.7m primarily on stronger sales whichexpanded 28% YoY to 7,546/oz (1Q2023: 5,902/oz). The average selling price also increased10% YoY to $2,083/oz (1Q2023: US$1,889/oz) in line with positive momentum in gold priceglobally.The processing plant expansion is progressing well and in line with budget

If you’re right, and it’s not sorted shortly, this gives us an opportunity to pick up cheap shares should there be a good ops RNS idc. I wouldn’t object to that.

Loads of punters only use ADVFN for their new source so this company is invisible to most. Get that sorted and it's off to the races

This issue of invisible RNSs was mentioned at the AGM. It wasn’t known by Aidar or seemingly Rajinder either. Whether Rajinder will make sure it’s addressed remains to be seen.

Thanks goldrush. If investing is all about risk and reward, then surely this is way too cheap. It’s just that the mkt currently places a very high discount rate on the future expected profits of small caps, perhaps especially gold miners in Kazakhstan. But we will show ‘em eventually!

Mkt cap of just £35m at today's share price of 130p, I wonder how far this can go?

Is £100m a stretch based on expected gold production improvements coming our way this year?
