Looks like I was spot on about them trying to show weakness....but it was not right....Now 140p bid vs 143p offer and looking good....as excellance said they had to up the bid !!

The problem is with the spread as it due to poor liquidity any buyer will have to bid up the price significantly to get any meaningful holding.

On good news the share price really could rocket.

People nibbling away and 142.45 to pay....still keeping the front at 139p but will get gobbled up at this rate...

Because of size they can delay trade....but certainly did not suit them to show the trade because they had 2 sells one of 4k and a 1k and wanted to paste the board as red and weak....now there is only 700 on offer at 139p.....and when that gets taken then offer price jumps to 143p....and then back to where we were last night...

I agree goldrush. The current round of share price rerating is allowing the nonbelievers to exit, being replaced by long-term investors with sticky holdings. As such, the free float is effectively being squeezed further. As we long termers have very high price targets, it’s going to take a great deal of share price appreciation before sellers emerge.

The first quarter is always weak due to the weather I assume. We’ll get a better idea of progress towards 1mtpa in H2. And they have built up stockpiles of ore to be processed once the new capacity comes on stream.

Worth highlighting that the processing capacity has been increased from 850'000 tonnes per year to 1'000'000 tonnes per year. At least that is the nameplate capacity increase. Reality has been they don't seem to have been able to process more than about 50'000 tonnes per month, so hopefully the expansion does increase actual operational processing capacity by up to about 60-70%.

Roll on agreed. My thoughts re rerate, mrkt cap now about 38m, vs revenue will be coming in over 60m pa at least, just invested 40m in cap development which will double / treble processing capacity, super local tax incentives coming online, high gold prices, inflation easing, new TS dev happening within next 2 years. Re-rate is happening now imho

It's probably a bit more than 2 % owned by people on here ....I reckon it will be more like 5 %.....With that kind of holding and the stickiness of our holdings together with expectations of good news flow there could well be a good share price re-rate. Of course with the gold price remaining where it is or even getting stronger certainly also helps.

Most of the recent trades seem to be capped at 3000 shares, about £4000, but in year or two 3000 shares could be £20,000 and the 8p spread won't seem so bad.
