Like cash the banks can print paper gold, but they can never deliver it.

With Saudi's and others now openly suggesting they will be selling oil in multiple currencies and with China and Russia considering trading based on gold backed currency, I'd be surprised if gold and silver doesn't at last break out from the clutches of manipulated Comex and other paper based cons.

They've done ok by us in my view - got the mine profitable, lent it some money on occasion, no share dilution after the time you mention. They're a bit rubbish on PR but maybe their view is that as things improve, sooner or later the world has to take notice.

It relates to how much money the controlling family have pumped into ALTN over the years to keep the business funded, out of debt, and build their controlling interest.

Let the re-rate continue this week, hard to believe this was £3 a share when the company was only producing a fraction of the gold they are producing today.

ALTN remains the lowest valued gold producer on the LSE.

Apparently the BOJ bought $78 billion of Japanese government bonds last week, as they grapple with rising interest rates and keeping the government funded.

Maybe the Fed and BOE will follow?

I think the $1910 is going to be tested again, but gold is looking a lot better, almost ten years now - may be 2023 could be the year to cross $2000.

I added today, my 1st purchase, would you believe, was £2.10p back in Q4 2020, that purchase was on the basis the share price had dropped from £3 some months earlier and operational/financial performance was improving.

My view is we are entering a gold bull market, the share price here has a great deal of catching up to do to match the last 'conservative' broker target which was in a £3.60p - £4.20p range - we are still awaiting new broker coverage.

Finally it looks like ALTN is about to become a hot stock to hold.

Nope, no more top slicing for now, happy with my more modest holding, so I'll hold for the big gains.

I expect we'll see some solid 20% per day gains next week.

if you'd have sold a few today, I wouldn't have blamed you, sp's done well over the past week and due a small retrace but there's much more to come in due course.

I reckon the tide has turned, onwards and upwards (with a few retraces now and again)"

Maybe I need to reconsider my system.

I tend to pile in big when I think something has bottomed, and even bigger if it drops further.

Then, as the share price rises I reduce the risk, but sometimes maybe I top slice too soon. It's not easy to get timing exactly right, and sometimes opportunities can slip away...

Delighted with the share price progress here, and looking forward to TS development news on the back of drilling reports and CPR.

In fact, while Seki phase two is now funded and under way I think TS development could really put a rocket under this in coming weeks.
