23/11/2020 09:58 | Has the spread suddenly reduced to 146/150?? If so, the benefit of consolidation already manifesting. | ![]() nevgroom

23/11/2020 09:24 | Looking at the chart to to me it seems that one big seller around 3p caused a vicious circle of seller down to 1.5p .... a mini recovery to 2p was then sold off by those who weren't quick enough first time around. Of course newsflow wasn't enough to offset that in the same period, plus PM's have been weak / conslidating. Let's hope both change course soon. | ![]() onedayrodders
23/11/2020 09:23 | It is as likely to go from £1 to £3 as it was from 1p to 3p, nonsense post about 'more scope to drop' and 'more difficult to rise' - the bl00dy market cap is what the share price determines and the market cap is what any investor with half a brain uses to determine value or otherwise! | ![]() king suarez
23/11/2020 08:09 | Yellow-strip spread currently remains 15% (130/150) - will be interesting to see how this actually trades and spread develops over the next few days, tightfist | ![]() tightfist
22/11/2020 18:57 | Not sure when the revised shares will trade tomorrow. My account has them as non tradable. As soon as trading initiates we will top the gainers at 10,000% an instant 100 bagger.....I think. That will generate some interest tomorrow! GLA | ![]() wimbled
22/11/2020 16:46 | Silverspoon. I am a large shareholder of AAZ so am 100% aware of their communications which are quite satisfactory. Bill the CFO and Stephen the exploration manager are excellent and both speak Russian as well as their native English. Here it is quite different and quite unsatisfactory. The simple fact here is there is no one, and up to now it seems that's the way the 70% owners like it because there is no suggestion of any change or recognition of any need to change ..... btw Reza holds 28% not 60%. | ![]() stevea171
22/11/2020 16:26 | stevea171 They do not have to come to London they can simply appoint a PR guru or a new non exec director based in London to promote, AAZ tend to send the CFO or Exploration Director to present, they are both UK nationals but live outside the UK, 60% of AAZ shares are held by Razi Vazari a Azerbaijan national. I forgot to mention in my last post that I hold a number of junior producers and their share price performance has been poor over the last month, it seems money has temporarily moved out of the sector chasing other rainbows, it will return. | ![]() silverspoon2009
22/11/2020 15:56 | Brasso & Cyber. What advice are they receiving from a Broker or Market savvy advisers? It seems they have no one. They completely isolate themselves from shareholders and the financial world ex Kazakhstan. Istm they have little ability or desire to communicate so unless and until this changes our desire for company promotion and marketing to increase the company profile and the share price will come to nothing. On the subject of the AGM Q & A which was an opportunity to begin to create a relationship with their own shareholders just for starters I consider this to have been an opportunity missed and a complete failure due to their desire to continue to avoid any direct simple answers and to continue to obfuscate. That is why I would like to see the Assaubeyev family restrict themselves to nonex Board positions and bring in suitably qualified professionals to run the company and interface with shareholders, institutions etc. Can anyone seriously see these people coming to London and doing any marketing at all let alone attracting new backers of the company? I certainly can't ....!! | ![]() stevea171
22/11/2020 14:38 | I agree that a 10:1 consolidation would have been more natural - 250M shares at 15p.However I said a few days ago that I suspect that the management have an eye on a US dual listing in due course, when production starts ramping up properly. Americans view any share less than $1 in price as not a serious investment (market cap is irrelevant psychologically). As part of a US listing they might raise some more funds for expansion.Just my suspicion/inference. | ![]() cyberbub
22/11/2020 12:52 | Steve It is a strange move to consolidate (100:1) the share capital down to such a low number like 27m shares. I do not understand the logic and a 10:1 would have been a more sensible move IMO. I hate consolidations but maybe the positives of a gold bull market will compensate for the negatives of a share consolidation. | ![]() brasso3
22/11/2020 12:34 | I'd like to think we deserve a good week after 4 pretty poor months | ![]() onedayrodders
21/11/2020 08:32 | Lots of conspiracy theories going on here but I do not see anything untoward going on. It is pretty clear with the name change to ALTYN GOLD they want to draw attention to the hoards of folk who are looking to invest in the sector, let's face it if you were looking at bulletin boards and came across ALTYN you would not know what their line of business is and potentially pass the investment by. I hope the consolidation is being used in an attempt to close the ridiculous spread and the games going on by market makers. Why do they show a 1.45p - 1.85p spread when you can sell at 1.55p and buy around 1.75p just recently. I have held a number of shares that have consolidated, the vast majority have performed very well in the after market. Maybe the new website, change of name and consolidation is a precursor to much improved PR. A clone company, albeit producing more gold, like AAZ is exceptional with their PR and their shares have risen from 4p to a high of £1.85p over the last 5 years. Let us see what happens next week post consolidation. | ![]() silverspoon2009
20/11/2020 20:15 | The Consolidation will result in the 2,733,293,400 ordinary shares of GBP0.10 each being consolidated into 27,332,934 New Ordinary Shares with effect from 20 November 2020. 10 million new shares @ £1.50 = £15 million 10 million new shares @ £2 = £20 million 10 million new shares @ £3 = £30 million 5 million new shares @ £5 = £25 million It would be sensible to have a number of issues at successively higher sp's to reduce overall dilution. This is what PM explorers do all the time where they can't afford to run out of cash and can't borrow. | ![]() stevea171
20/11/2020 17:47 | The directors presumably took a 70% holding here with a view to making money at a later date when the environment for gold mining was better. That time is now. You all know the steps the board have taken, to raise capital, buy equipment, upgrade, develop, improve...but they kept dilution to a minimum, ran the mine on a shoe string, until the time came. $27m gets us to a certain level, probably 40 or 50k oz pa, but to get us up too 100,000 oz pa plus we need to expand, and we need TS open pit too. The question is, how much cash will they need, and will we be bringing in another party with greater resources and capacity to build our phase ll mine? To get the directors holding down below 50% we will need to issue half a billion new shares, or 500,000 new shares, and that scenario seems very feasible. So 500K shares at £1.40 would bring in £700m which I think is double what we actually need...have I got my numbers right? Maybe the directors want to keep their majority, issue fewer shares, or maybe sell some of their shares? Loads of possibilities, very exciting, but let's get the Q3 numbers first, one step at a time... | ![]() excellance
20/11/2020 16:57 | Placement most likely reason imo to take advantage of main market listing and get some institutions on the register. They cannot get a placement away at the current share price and i suspect even the owners themselves are getting bored of the snails pace development of the assets. The question is when will it happen and at what price. I am hoping we will have a series of positive updates (starting with Q3) to drive some share price action post consolidation as otherwise we are open to the sub £1 (in new money) placement possibility. | ![]() sloppyg
20/11/2020 16:28 | just a conspiracy theory... the point is, we should know where those 154m shares are because they are over 3% of the equity, but we don't, therefore we have to assume that they have found a buyer for them. The consolidation came out of the blue really, and isn't really needed, unless something is dependent on it, and that can only mean if anything that a fund or other third party wants in but due to its own rules it cant buy penny shares, so i'm concluding this is the case. anyway, we are overdue Q3 numbers, and now there should be no reason to hold them back any more, bar a NDA, but i doubt that is the case. happy friday, see you on happy monday! | ![]() excellance
20/11/2020 16:08 | Excellence I don't see how today's RNS can reasonably be used to infer anything about the 154M shares, personally. | ![]() cyberbub
20/11/2020 16:04 | Red Army that notification about Joshua Rowe was a month ago?In any case we have no idea whether he's still selling as he doesn't have to notify below 3% I believe? | ![]() cyberbub
20/11/2020 15:56 | Is this dog 🐶 going down the pan 🤔 | ![]() cool hand kev
20/11/2020 13:16 | I think we can put the issue of 154m bounty shares, no TR1 notification, and today's resolution all together. It seems that we have found a home for those shares, but the fund buying them needed an share price that wasn't fractions of a penny, so consolidation cleared the way. Happy days. Inflection point. Now we will see a series of positive RNS's and our share price will rise in leaps and bounds. | ![]() excellance |
