i've just put a sell "limit" order on the system for 10m shares at 25p.

i'm fairly sure that will result in a call from my broker to clarify.

My intention is not to sell, but to try and prevent my shares being "borrowed", and obviously when the consolidation happens that trades becomes 100,000 shares at £25, or at least that is my hope!

Steve, thats a fairly standard letter, it doesn't mean / say they have done away with the EGM - albeit it may be a virtual one. Nothing to fret about. They have enough votes themselves to get the consolidation through.

I wonder if the grand plan is to;
bring in the consolidation and name change on Monday
then when the share price tanks to release a decent Q3 production report that they have been holding back and the share price recovers/rockets as it appears to be a new company with some prospects ..... ???!!!!

E-mail from my Broker today. It seems this company has gone ahead without the EGM tomorrow and is advising brokers of the implications for their shareholders.


Altyn Inc - Consolidation and Name Change
Dear XXXXXXX

The Board of Altyn plc has announced a reorganisation of the Company's Share Capital. Shareholders as at close of business on 20 November 2020 will have their holding consolidated, receiving 1 new Share in place of every 100 Shares previously held. The new consolidated Shares are expected on 23 November 2020.

Please note we will credit the Shares to your account upon receipt from the registrar which may not be before 8.00am on 23 November 2020.

The Company is also proposing to change name to Altyn Gold plc.

We will write to you following the Consolidation and Name Change to confirm how your holding has been affected.

Well I own quite a few now. My second biggest holding behind EUA.

Once the EUA situation is resolved I envisage ALTN becoming number 1.

For that reason I'm not bothered if the share price here goes thru a weak period if it coincides with me realising gains from there.

I bet 50%-75% of the free float is owned by contributors to this BB so sentiment here goes a long way towards dictating the share price trend at any point in time.

According to the website, 69.73% of the 2.74 billion shares are owned by African Resources which means about 850m shares are outside of their control.

Joshua Rowe owns 3% or about 70m and GHargreaves Lansdowne ownes a similar amount.

There really aren't that many shares in free float, volume is usually low, so if there is any decent positive news the share price should respond very well.

Excited and a bit nervous about our next report, but even if the numbers aren't great I'll be happy so long as development is ongoing.

I think the Pfizer statement today says it all.

Pfizer were the first to report, but since then two others have reported better results, so Pfizer go to BMW for advice and upgrade their results, and include a nice diversity spin too.

Their accountants were probably trained at the Starbucks school of accountancy too.

Still no tr1 notifications for who took the 154m bounty shares.

We have to assume that they have been dispersed to investors and some may be being sold on the open market, hence the 50% retrace.

This presents a glorious opportunity.

It needs the Q3 update and to provide a strong indication of travel for Q4 and 2021. If positive, we are back to 3p and more fairly quickly. They need to provide confidence to investors they can execute the production/mine plan. They’ve borrowed $27million to deliver it!

The share price should remain underpinned by the huge assets that most small cap gold miners could only dream of having.

I believe investors are missing a trick by not taking advantage of the near 50% share price drop from the 3.2p reached in August.

The price of gold remains high and ALTYN seem to be moving in the right direction, the wide spread is not as wide as it seems as it is possible to trade well within the advertised range.

I think this could rise strongly on a modicum of decent news and on low volume.
