the new equipment was supposed to reduce or improve dilution of ore, so i'm hoping the Q3 numbers show a bit of grade improvement.

HG, it won't get those numbers if the grades stay low..... CPR suggests 3.6 g/t..... they are digging up 1.5 - 2g/t.Hopefully improve significantly with depth...

i am not concerned. today's volume was low and the spread was 1.51/1.69 so not to wide compared to in the past. my guess is someone got a fright yesterday and bailed, but the gold bull run is not over yet, and in fact we are still at $1880 so no real change.

also, i bought some ALTN not long ago at 1.59p and 1.60p so i'm quite content considering.

news is due, and i think we all hope it will show reasonable production, but our expectation is over a longer term that upgrades and new kit will see big increases in production, reduction of costs, and then we also have the TS open pit to add in 2 or 3 years time.

tomorrow is a new day...

Considering this was £3 a few months ago, and other than a few maintenance issues alls good, possibly a drop in gold which is premature. 6 months time all will be good IMO.

750k (£12k sale @ 1.605) in this thin market did the deed today .. probably same seller in smaller chunks offloading a bit later too.

Unreal in the last few months its gone from my best share to my worst, I should have sold with the warning signs but the spread was so wide, although I do believe it will stay a good investment in the long term.

Being taken down on tiny trades, someone playing games, now 50% down since August's 3.2p high.

Indeed Gekks .. we had this for months sub 1p but it got better in the run up to 3p as positive news flow started and perception of the company changed.

The recent large seller which caused more panic selling has given the MM's the opportunity to return and kill the activity / interest back to the old days.

Hence, next news has to meet / exceed targets to ensure belief that momentum is still in place.

The recent consolidation news on balance has also not been received well, even though I think it will go some way to removing this ridiculous spread.

Just my idle thoughts but with Gold still around $1900, the assets and risk / reward for me is enough to sit tight.

I'll be amazed if it's a quick recovery in Gold from here as there are normally "after shocks" after such a big hit and short term technicals blown out the water. Plus the algorithms will be moving on every Pfizer comment from here on... but if it's not Pfizer there are plenty more in the pipeline so best we get this fully priced in sooner than later.Regardless the bull run is far from over

I can’t see the Pfizer vaccine being rolled out ‘at scale’ until Q2 next year. In the meantime, restrictions and curtailed economic activity, necessitating further US stimulus measures once Biden is in post.

Whilst gold has taken a kicking today, I don’t see any material money supply reduction, interest rate rises etc in the next 2 years.

Excellance. Imo more likely that Q3 production RNS will be tomorrow or Wednesday (11/11). By now they also know production for October which should be on a steadily increasing trend.

Q1 was 7am on Monday 11 May.

Q2 was 11am on 11 August, but there were two rns's released earlier in the same day.

Maybe we'll have to wait til next Monday?

Its like $1860 is no longer a fantastic price for gold miners! How strange the market it. I still think gold will be above $2000 in the next 3 months.

after all that time waiting to crack $1930 on Gold !

still can't be too down on a hope of a new vaccine .. any hint was always going to crush PM's short term as the ridiculous bullish US hungry markets overreact.

PM's were going up anyway and damage is already done and trillions printed with more to come.

Let them have their 10 mins in the sun today ... Gold started it's multi year bull run long before Covid in 2018.... it will be back up soon
