13/11/2020 11:35 | They are just focussing on margin (spread) rather than volume! They are offering sales at 1.80p at present - are they gambling on positive news expectations soon? | ![]() tightfist
13/11/2020 11:34 | 1.8p to buy! 1.4/1.8 | ![]() excellance
13/11/2020 11:13 | This spread is just bonkers, almost as if the MMs don't want to do business. Why would that be? | ![]() upthepool

13/11/2020 08:40 | Impossible to buy any meaningful size here, no quote available for just £4.5k of shares ?? | ![]() the_sage1
13/11/2020 07:56 | Some chunky buys towards the close yesterday, the shares look cheap. Q3 production news next week potentially + General Meeting on Friday. | ![]() silverspoon2009
12/11/2020 21:05 | X2 are mine. Hoping to have caught the price right. The spread has always been a nightmare with this share.JW | ![]() joey wilson

12/11/2020 18:07 | i can only assume that the news when it comes will be good, or perhaps this is mere speculation. My trade was the biggest on that list so who knows? | ![]() excellance

12/11/2020 18:04 | 1,750,000 in 5 trades bought after 16:11 this afternoon. 12/11/2020 16:32 | just bought 625,000 at 1.78 and i don't think its shown up anywhere i think, or at least i hope, this will do very well very soon, and if it doesn't then it will do well next year. Obviously we are in development stage at the moment so i don't expect miracles, but the trend looks like its in the right direction in terms of production, and so all we need now is for the share price to reciprocate, and to do that we need to consistently get those numbers up. Queue Q3 numbers, and fingers crossed!! | ![]() excellance
12/11/2020 16:28 | that little tick up is encouraging, but no doubt the mm will slam dunk the share price after close as usual. i've never known such a tightly controlled sp | ![]() excellance
12/11/2020 16:22 | says 1.46p on my screen | ![]() excellance
12/11/2020 16:20 | One 250,000 buy sends this straight into auction, so illiquid it's unreal. This could add 50%+ in just one session if volume came in. | ![]() silverspoon2009
12/11/2020 16:08 | Average grade came in line with our internal budgets at 1.5g/t. Significant capital and horizontal development are being currently undertaken at the mine. In addition, the new exploration drilling equipment that only arrived at the end of the second quarter should substantially reduce dilution and improve grades in 2H20 in line with our annual budget. | ![]() excellance
12/11/2020 16:04 | is mkt cap of under £40m reasonable? | ![]() excellance
12/11/2020 16:00 | the spread normally gives an indication of liquidity or volatility. i low volume share, erratic in nature, often has a wide spread, and this is to "protect" the broker, who wants a bigger spread to cover his risk. Well, if the company made the shares more desirable then trade volume would follow and the spread would reduce, but liquidity restriction means that because only 30% of the shares are not owned by directors there can't be greater liquidity until they let some go, or increase the number of shares, and we don't actually want that! | ![]() excellance
12/11/2020 15:51 | Yes, Ex. These current reduced prices should be a godsend of a top-up opportunity, but the spread here on ALTN is soul (and trade) destroying..! | ![]() linz22
12/11/2020 14:26 | Volume here recently has been miniscule, with trades over 100,000 quite rare. It won't take much to get this flying. Gold doing well today, up £16. | ![]() excellance
12/11/2020 12:00 | I do note the use of the word "stowage" in that rns. Stowage is a naughtical term apparently. "Storage is the act of placing material or ammunition and other supplies onboard the vessel. Stowage relates to the act of securing those items stored in such a manner that they do not shift or move during at-sea periods, using methods and equipment as approved by higher authority." | ![]() excellance
12/11/2020 11:49 | I don't think there's anything to worry about. AGM on 20 November where we vote for the Consolidation. With the family owning 70% I don't think I'll bother voting. Will we get Q3 before the AGM? I wonder if we'll get a nice juicy AGM statement to ponder over? | ![]() excellance
12/11/2020 11:46 | Was it this line that got folk worried? "...an additional storage facility will be built for stowing over 1.0 mln m3 of tailing solids, which should allow uninterruptible operation of the gold processing plant until 2024." | ![]() excellance
12/11/2020 11:25 | Anyway, share price today seems to be 1.47/1.67 | ![]() excellance |
