05/10/2016 13:20 | Large trades can be worked over a number of days and only reported when finished, as in this case....50000 shares not easy to acquire quickly with such a small free float... | sja123
05/10/2016 12:57 | It's from October 4th - it's dated if you use a Bloomberg Terminal. | value king
05/10/2016 12:51 | Apparently all late trades have to reported within an hour - so I can't see how it can be from yesterday? That's why you see pre market timed trades at for example at 7.30am etc being reported from last night. But this trade came in at 12 noon today - so the deal must have done at 11am or later today. That's what I understand - correct me if I'm wrong. | ihatemms
05/10/2016 12:47 | I think that 50,000 was a late trade from yesterday | zho
05/10/2016 12:06 | Well somebody's happy to pay a premium for the stock - 50,000 bought at 87.5p - almost £44k - how long can they hold the price b4 it shoots up again? Quite a few late trades being reported with somebody hoovering up any sells | ihatemms
04/10/2016 16:13 | due to the volatility I removed stop loss this morning, good thing too as they were down around 16% at one point. | malcolmmm

04/10/2016 09:06 | You must be joking!! Around 11m shares in free float here for a company going places, lucrative contracts being gained, directors piling in, tipped everywhere.... Sell if you like...but getting back in with any sort of decent amount will be nigh on impossible imo... A few posters arrived here now with alternative agendas and trying to talk it down to get in themselves....you're extremely transparent guys... Do as you wish....I'm staying put for a good while yet! Near 60% rise yesterday...bound to come off a bit today....nowt unusual in that... The RNS was a standard one required of the company and market by their NOMAD...as you all well know!! All imo etc blah blah.... | sja123
04/10/2016 08:57 | 15p 6 weeks ago. This will tank if the news doesn't come thick and fast. People must be crazy buying in over 30p IMO | bpc10

04/10/2016 08:23 | Agree Out at 91 Ready to come back asap | the patient investor
04/10/2016 08:18 | Some people must have a death wish or desire to lose their money as quick as possible chasing this to 97p this morning. Less than 15p a few months ago and a warning yesterday the price is getting ahead of itself and they still chase it like crazy. | hatey
03/10/2016 22:42 | Cheers ihatemms... Slightly expanded list... Reasons for increase: WH Ireland Have 300p tgt price in recent note SCSW described it as a "multibagger" Directors continually buying shares CEO owns 29% of company aligning his interests with all holders His latest purchase recently at over 40p 42m shares only, many now tightly held 2 x deals already announced this year with profit share Hints of more deals to come Genuine re-rate now company moving into profit and cutting costs 80% profit margins Software already in the bag, little R&D spending required One stop shop for Click2Ship solution for branded goods getting distributors attention Massive US market to address Weakening £ makes US earnings more lucrative still Hinted at other possible applications for its software solutions I would also love to see the WH Ireland note, which is apparently quite comprehensive..... Not a subscriber to SCSW but feel enough time has passed since their write up for all subscribers who wished to take advantage of buying to have done so....a few pertinent extracts if anyone has them would be of interest also.... All imo etc | sja123
03/10/2016 22:01 | ihatemms, only got a small holding in STY but it looks like a cracking business. I also have a long term spread bet but I mistimed it so haven't got the funds to add more at this price point. No idea on ALT until we get some numbers on how much money each disti is bringing in. All the numbers I've run end up with silly valuations so I'm currently basing FOUR as my working example. If you consider that FOUR have grown steadily at c.15% since 2011 and have hit 16 quid with a lowly 6% margin, I can't see anything but ALT getting there a hell of a lot faster with an 80% margin. As soon as they ramp up customers in the Aprinta deal, they'll be printing money. I think the only downside I can see would be a possible slow rollout of websites - you can't just flick a switch and get all 41,000 distis up and running with sites for all their customers. We do need some figures to work with and I'm trying to get hold of the WHI note. If anyone has it and can either post the timescale to the 300p or provide some idea of the earnings from the Aprinta deal, then that would be useful. The only sensible numbers I can come up with were the ones I posted the other day by working backwards. If you look at FOUR today and the divi they are paying, I think ALT can get there with revenues of c.35m. That's about £70m gross profit to Aprinta which at a 5% margin works out at c.£1.4B revenue figure for all their distis. If you assume that only half of Aprinta's distis sign up to use the software, then that 1.4B ends up being less than £6K a month for each disti. That's probably a tough call for a lot of the small distis who must be family businesses but this is just looking at the one deal. There's the AI Mastermind one and a further "pipeline" coming online too. I'm probably miles off on multiple fronts. :-) But at least we know it will mostly go straight to the bottom line when it does come in. | sheep_herder
03/10/2016 21:43 | SH- see you've also got a holding in STY like myself. Good to be in such good company. And you've got a similar average to myself in ALT. I'm up to 165k shares at an average of 43.3p. I did say it would go vertical once Octopus overhang cleared- which it seems to have done. What are your price expectations in the short term for this stock? I think we'll get good news flow in the next few months as the US launch ramps up and new contracts are announced. Interesting that Varley bought pretty much the maximum he could before he would have to make a formal offer to buy out the whole company. Shows how much confidence he has in the company prospects ! Add that together with the the chairman buys and the options for Shaun and you can see what the other directors views of prospects are. Sja123 - great summary by the way! | ihatemms |
