gg, I'm in the same boat here although it's not the final share price that excites me, it's the divi possible from a highly cash generative business. If you look at their costs for the software development they're actually quite small. Even if you factor in a larger spend in the future as they grow, it's still going to be tiny compared to the cash gen. I'm hoping this gives me about twice my current salary in dividends in a couple of years.

Napoleon - I managed to pick up 50,000 at 27.5p on the Monday after the tip. Continued to add more at 30p, 31 and 33p - so 24 p - a little bit optimistic but not too far out from what was possible. Now up to 130,000 shares with the aim to add up to 200,000 shares in total .Hopefully will get to £5 and as Melf says retirement!

200,000 x £5 a share = £1m

OMFG!!!

@value king, just looked at FOUR chart...wow! Thought I got lucky with SOU. but FOUR that takes the whole pack of biscuits! ALT looks pretty set chart wise, going have a further nosy tomorrow..

Unfortunately I never bought ALT on last month's tip and have been waiting for a dip to buy on but keep missing the boat, I have only secured a small few on the last retrace of the share price. Hopefully they don't move too quick on Monday.

I do hold a sizeable amount of FOUR though, which I've held for a long time having bought below £1 in 2009 after the market crash. Has more than risen 20 fold in that time if I include my dividend return which is still running at 2.5% and growing fast. Like ALT they are nearly all US revenues and will be benefiting from the weaker GB pound. They don't have anything like the margins ALT will have from their software sales though. If ALT can part emulate that performance they will still prove a very worthwhile holding in my estimation, even if I have only got a small amount.

Actually, regarding a new deal, would be nice if FOUR signed up to use the software. Would surely enhance their margins and improve their offering. That would be a scoop.

Yes SH...the deal bit...didn't want to say too much today as it's unfair to subscribers to scsw.

Regarding other possible deals. The basic main product they have is which makes it easy to create your own artwork ready for printing or whatever. I wonder if we'll see deals with large consumer goods producers who want to allow customers to customise what they buy.

SH - I agree £5 seems too low and like you I hope it's just an interim target.

Melf, what do you mean? The "bigger than Aprinta deal"? I still think that a target of £5 is far too low given the numbers I'm looking at.

Edit - unless the £5 target is for FY17 in which case I agree. :-)

SH, have you read the 2nd paragraph (last 3 lines) on GP3 portfolio bit at the back? If this comes to fruition the shares will go into overdrive!

Honestly though, £5 sounds very low to me. They're attacking a market that is at least as big if not bigger than FOUR and have 80% margins. I guess it depends a lot on the timescales of that £5.

"Cheeky" was exactly the same word that occurred to me when I saw their PF price! I'm sure they used to wait a couple of days or so after the initial tip before adding, but this may have been a long time ago.

Yes, they have, at a cheeky 24p. That screws the game in favour of their PF statistics while they rest of us were lucky to get in under 35p....

If ALT do what FOUR did for me, I'll be well happy. IMO they could do a lot more.

I am wondering if SCSW will add these to their portfolio. Their editor has a holding. Should give the share price another boost as they think this will be a future multi bagger . Will soon see.
