28/5/2021 17:42:05 | Jeez I’ve been here for years and never realised there was a thumbs up/down. Think I prefer no knowing. | pretax2

28/5/2021 17:08:23 | Just pressed positive on your post., any better lol. | 7rademark
28/5/2021 17:07:17 | Wasn't me, I don't even understand the thumbs up down system. The mms are quite fair when you deal at best, and if they do give you a stupid price you can complain to your broker. Often the mms we will slightly improve the deal. | 7rademark
28/5/2021 17:03:54 | Easy yes - but we all know what the pit-falls are (were). | 801710245
28/5/2021 17:02:42 | I love the fact that I get marked down every time I post something. It makes me feel 'part of the gang'. If anyone else is able to mark me down too that would make me 'leader of the pack'.
Go on - you know you want to... | 801710245
28/5/2021 16:55:50 | Just click deal at best. Easy. | 7rademark
28/5/2021 16:40:41 | ...wish the MMs had allowed me to sell 100k yesterday. | 801710245
28/5/2021 16:37:11 | Agree, and the website doesn't even have a 2021 button on its menu, on the plus side they are pleased to announce and you could sell in quantity at the close, 10 minutes earlier it was NT to sell any. | 7rademark
28/5/2021 16:34:06 | That's utter bs dropping interims on a Friday at 4pm before a long weekend | dplewis1

28/5/2021 16:27:56 | Share price dips down! Results late on a Friday before a long weekend do not bode well and published on the website.🤞 | moormoney

28/5/2021 07:59:25 | 801, It’s not always like this tho, it’s just at times there’s a lack of liquidity as there are hardly any buyers or sellers. For what it’s worth I believe at the moment there is someone in the background buying large chunks and there is someone offloading large chunks too. And these trades are being managed to satisfy both parties. Maybe wait till that’s done to sell the 100k. Have a good weekend too. | mick sturbs
28/5/2021 07:53:09 | Morning Mick,
I have no intention of selling all my shares, but I'm a bit over-exposed - given the lack of developments.
and yes, I reiterate, I'm impatient. Thing is, I just don't understand the logic of how this market works. Either the MMs want to part the impatient investors from their stock, or they don't.
Which is it? | 801710245 | |
28/5/2021 07:42:27 | You said it yourself, you’re impatient. This is one of those stocks that will make money for the patient ones in my opinion. | mick sturbs
28/5/2021 07:24:39 | 7,
Thank you for the reply.
I know the MMs use all manner of tactics to squeeze as much stock or money out of PIs - especially the impatient PIs (of which I am one), but it is surely counter-intuitive, to suggest raising the bid (to entice selling if/when short of stock), and then refuse to accept the stock at the price they appear to be offering? As for "making a market", well that seems counter-intuitive too if we can't trade the shares we own.
I'm not having a go at you, I've been dabbling with shares (with various degrees of success & disaster), for decades. But I don't think I've every held a share with such a small free-float, where the MMs only allow me to sell eighty quid's worth.
Meanwhile, another week appears to have rolled by without the news they expected to promulgate in April. The next trading day after this, is in June.
Shares a-side, I hope you and anyone else here, has a wonderful bank-holiday weekend. May the sun shine on you. | 801710245
27/5/2021 15:41:40 | 801, often when the bid has ticked up it will be difficult to sell at the new price, the mms will also use limits to manipulate and deceive, they call it making a market.I've been here from the start and intend to stay until the end as I believe algw will be taken over eventually so even if they obtain an mcap of 20% of their successful peers I'll be more than happy. Good luck. | 7rademark
27/5/2021 13:55:08 | Fair enough. Each to their own and noone can criticise you for doing what's right for you. Good luck | baghdaddy2018
