03/7/2020 13:53 | Dec you are pathetic | 7rademark
03/7/2020 10:09 | So basically the price has risen because a few private investors including you have bought speculatively, resulting in holding announcements. Meanwhile your gut feeling disclosed yesterday is the warehousing facility is off the table for now. If that's off then I hardly think any high net worth individuals will want to privately invest $25m stakes for them to manage. To me it just looks like a three man outfit, any of who could catch Covid19 and peg out. Better to invest in life policies via one of the larger outfits including those more highly ranked by Barclay Hedge. | deccer1
03/7/2020 08:40 | Actually if ANYONE has price sensitive info. not released to the public and trade on it they are 'insider trading' not just Company officers/employees. Sadly plenty of insider trading goes on, it's not difficult for someone who knows someone who knows about a deal to find out what's likely to happen and profit from it. In ALGW's case I have to say that GS is very tight lipped, as he should be. A more regular news flow would be nice though, if only to keep interest piqued. | gilesfitzh
03/7/2020 08:34 | Time doesn't really come into it. If a Director has price sensitive info. not released to the public and he/she trades on that it's 'insider dealing' and the penalties are severe. In addition there are closed periods, usually 30 days before the date of the Company's accounts and periodic updates. | gilesfitzh
03/7/2020 08:12 | How close to info release can a director buy? ie day before /week before | laurence14
03/7/2020 07:46 | Another increase in holding this morning. Either these ppl are clueless, all are informed investors. I am inclined to think to the latter. | jailbird
02/7/2020 22:11 | SP does come across as being manipulated. I reckon quite a few people have 1m shares. That’s half a percent of the company more or less. On the other hand daily volume is low so with news and a volume of say. 16-20m shares, this could motor. | pretax2
02/7/2020 21:10 | Maybe it will come good , if it when these deals have agreedDaily commentary about free float is all nonsense . If it is true what you say , been said for 2 years makes more farcical It looks like previous fund raising placees are selling here tooThat is where the stock is probably coming from | jailbird
02/7/2020 20:54 | Good little ramp there - people have been banging on about the low free float for 2 years now - shame it never seems to rise much above the 1.5p - 2p area - even though the recent heavy buying from M Ward - nothing much seems to push the low free float higher | euclid5
02/7/2020 20:42 | Think a TR1 incoming tomorrow, todays and yesterdays price action suggests someone / people are accumulating here. Free float already low and if the TR1 comes then it's another few million in sticky hands. Can see a quick rise to around 3p tomorrow (assuming a TR1) and thereafter its 5p plus on volume with good news. That's an easy bag from here | baghdaddy2018
02/7/2020 11:44 | We have to remember that the US is in the middle of a virus infecting 100k people a day. Consequently I’m not expecting much out of the update, hope I’m wrong. | pretax2
02/7/2020 10:59 | Agree its not a reasonable excuse, algw need to push on because with an uncertain climate such as this now is the time to take advantage.Of course there will be no major news in the update as this would have been released if it was available Let's hope the update is better than the last which imo was dire boring and lacked enthusiasm | 7rademark
02/7/2020 10:52 | Correct 7rademark - so the co giving execuses about covid 19 is just another execuse from them - deals are still completed in tis sector Also as a small investor, I could of bought the same amount of shares the 3 directors have recently - they have bought sod all shs imo - a tiny amount £10k a piece Tha should tell you everything there is to know about this outfit | euclid5
02/7/2020 08:32 | With today's technology it is very possible to conduct meetings online actually. All documents should be stored in cloud, and therefore accessible with the right easily granted permissions. online programming provides signature software, and handshakes are a thing of the past anyway. | 7rademark
02/7/2020 08:17 | I've just posted this on LSE, you are also welcome to MY thoughts :p Here are MY current views on ALGWs 3 focused strategies as per 27th April update. BOAGF: LS contracts continue to be available to buy and, as soon as the requisite finance is available, from whatever source, DS can close the deals. Unlikely to feature much in the update. Warehouse Loan / Short Term Credit Facility: This is on hold. The UK lender, the lawyers and GS, quite reasonably, consider it impossible to try and conduct what were all day face to face meetings, online. It’s just not practical to have people hanging on while some documentation that is not to hand in someone’s home is tracked down by another person also trying to work from home, neither of whom have access to the filing cabinets, physical or virtual, in a timely manner. Do not expect the update to say that this is a done deal. SMA’s: This is where the immediate future of ALGW lies. Finance is not needed, UHNW individuals are still very interested and GS is having face to face meetings in the US. These could feature in the update. In addition: GS has, on several occasions, mentioned that ‘changes are happening’. Exactly what these are I don’t know but he seems excited by the possibilities and these will likely be the main content of the update. | gilesfitzh
01/7/2020 20:07 | It was a worked buy when price was 2.2/2.3pI did notice MMs were absorbing the sells most part of the day but I could not buy any without kill or fill , well that is with my broker . | jailbird
01/7/2020 17:36 | 1 million lrgs trade reported at 2.29. Another TR1 incoming? | baghdaddy2018

01/7/2020 15:01 | The real future lies here..... Separate Managed Accounts - The Company was approached and has entered into discussions with sponsors of proprietary funds to manage the longevity assets within those funds or what we call separate managed accounts. The Company continues to receive and have discussions with parties that wish to allocate funding, usually at a minimum of $25m, to invest in SLS, and to appoint the Company to act as the advisor or sub-advisor for a fee. During 2019 the Company had several of these opportunities present themselves. To avoid a dilution of its resources, the Company focused on discussions that were with parties pre-vetted by, or already known to, the Directors. These opportunities had reached a stage where early 2020 was proving to be the inflection point for the discussions, particularly as the equity markets were viewed as being "toppy", with the investors wishing to diversify into non-correlated assets. Whilst market turmoil has caused liquidity issues for these investors (who would be likely to want to allocate funds currently invested in equities into SLS assets) but has not diminished their desire to diversify into SLS. The Company is in contact with these parties who recognise the executives and the Company as a valuable resource for their long-term objectives. | snooker40

01/7/2020 11:39 | There is no mention of the update in that post that I can see. In any case it was copied from someone else and is somewhat out of date. | gilesfitzh
