21/12/2022 18:51 | Thank you one and all, very helpful. Yes, poor advice from the juniors at HL - and not for the first time. I shall leave them with HL for the moment. | zimmie1
21/12/2022 18:25 | That is really poor advice from HL, to tell zimmie1 that the shares have no value just because they are not being actively traded within the parameters set for companies listed on AIM. My house has a lot of value but I am not actively seeking a buyer. Sounds like a trainee didn't know the answer. I am valuing my ALM shares at the last traded price, 13.85 on November 29, even though I was not offered that, and that was more than the derisory 9 pence I was offered in the manipulated market in the weeks before delisting. That's not a 'spread' it's a scam. I will keep the shares until the Board succeed in monetising the assets, and distribute the proceeds according to their By Laws. My broker Interactive Investor (now Aberdeen) gave my inquiry to a rookie and I had to explain it to him. Their price for a certificate was £40, which might come into play if Sam Dobbie cannot wind the Company up, but there should be no fee from the broker if they do succeed and there are proceeds to distribute. There is no cost to the broker, my account with II is just one of a number that will be entitled to a portion of that distribution. | ![]() wbodger
21/12/2022 14:51 | Hi Zimmie1 - that's right, they will be held at zero value 'officially' as you can't trade them. Unofficially, the value is 13.8p as that was the last trade price. Currently, there is no mechanism in place to facilitate trading between investors. Other companies that are delisting such as PCF or Parsley Box are using Asset Match which run quarterly auctions. I know that Allied Minds have explored using them but haven't made a decision yet. In the event that the company liquidates its holdings, you will receive your pro-rata share of any proceeds. You just need to show proof of ownership which is why you should keep them in HL if you can or request / buy share certificates. I hope that helps. | catabrit
21/12/2022 10:17 | I hold some in a SIPP with Hargreaves they are showing no value as they are now unlisted..fair enough as there is no method of discerning a correct valuation for now. As to holding there is no issue holding unlisted in a SIPP as far as i am aware, though believe ISA's cannot hold unlisted? If the stock cannot be held suggest you transfer into own name and work out how to get on the ALM'S email list for news. | ![]() kooba
21/12/2022 10:09 | Good question! CD | ![]() cambridgedon
21/12/2022 09:55 | I'm UK based and hold shares in this company via a Hargreaves Lansdown SIPP. HL are now telling that the stock has no value since it delisted and the shares are not tradable. Surely that cannot be correct? Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks | zimmie1
17/12/2022 20:06 | Linkdin yesterday Federated Wireless has been conditionally approved as an automated frequency coordination (AFC) system operator by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), to go alongside its role as gatekeeper for CBRS spectrum access for private cellular deployments in the US. The firm has already struck commercial deals with Wi-Fi device manufacturers to enable access to the 6 GHz band for indoor and outdoor Wi-Fi 6E devices. The company said the Wi-Fi makers it has signed with cover 50 percent of the global supply market for outdoor wireless local-area-network (WLAN) access points. Deals with these vendors will bring standard power and outdoor Wi-Fi 6E access point operation online “at a lightning pace”, it said. Federated Wireless is running a spectrum access system (SAS) for private and shared cellular LTE and 5G in the 3.55-3.7 GHz ‘CBRS’ band; the latest AFC duties would see it cover the unlicensed 6 GHz band for Wi-Fi, as well. A statement said: “Fixed wireless access will be a critical technology in the 6 GHz band. Fixed wireless operators were one of the earliest adopters of shared spectrum technology through the use of the CBRS band. Federated Wireless is pleased to announce it has also signed a commercial agreement with a leading 4G/5G equipment manufacturer that specializes in fixed wireless access points. The commercial partnership between the two companies will allow the fixed wireless market to utilize 850 MHz of the 6 GHz band for standard power operation. | believer2

15/12/2022 09:45 | Having been unable to see the earlier zoom call I have now received an email from Charlie Brown at JTC Group. Anyone else get this or know who JTC are? CD | ![]() cambridgedon
15/12/2022 09:28 | They previously said they would look to implement an alt market. No mention of it in the investor call however. | ![]() bobonumber1
14/12/2022 13:19 | What are the chances of us being able to sell our shares when we decide we want to? CD | ![]() cambridgedon
14/12/2022 08:59 | Yeah I love the downside protection offered by Federated and the free upside optionality provided by the other bets. Not going to lose sleep over this investment at all. Looking forward to future updates and let's keep sharing what we find on this thread. | catabrit
13/12/2022 20:13 | Yes. Still at least 1 year away from any significant monetisation opps. Bridgecomm and Orbital are binary bets but if successful then possible billion $ companies based on GHOST success and BC's proving OWC over 1km. We will also see by April next year whether they sink or swim. Fed going well and should be valued at $500mill next year. Based on that FED alone is around 60/70p to the NAV. All co's exit strategy to IPO/spac or sell to industry. Cash runway of at least 2 years for ALM with further cost cutting measures to be looked at. Quarterly updates will be given to SH's. | ![]() bobonumber1
13/12/2022 12:08 | A good call albeit nothing new. Tonnes of optionality in the portfolio and I think anyone who has an average price of 9-13p is well protected. Just needs time. | catabrit
13/12/2022 10:57 | Can someone post details of how to view the zoom update. | ![]() cambridgedon
