I rewatched the presentation. Got super bullish again. Orbital is exciting and we know what federated has to offer. I'm happy to wait for these companies to realise their true value, preferably under a new management. If CRS have no plan then I think Harry stays. I assume this fire sale is in response to CRS pressure. I was expecting something over the weekend from CRS but still nada. Pretty disappointing really.

Well simply speaking they are using historic information the value of assets and cash has declined in 2021..the results should be out end of this month i hope ( last year 30th March) they may push them back this year past the GM as they will show no progress in achieving strategic aims set out 3 years ago and a further drop in NAV.Current estimate NAV 38.5p so discount something like 42%.

Even though it appears we are now embarked on a fire sale of the company or holdings ..the position of a number of investments means they shouldn't be given away !Hope a new management will better understand the assets and how to maximise value even if we are going the new route of putting a sale sign up.All about selling the opportunity as realistically as possible and finding the right buyer or buyers...i thought this had been the idea for 3 years now but mostly the company has chugged through cash and provided disappointing valuation news flow.Time for a total refresh of what remains of the board...trying to paint a positive picture of the only independent director leaving with immediate effect following update and the save Harry BS which probably cost fortunes in legals says what that director really thought.

Quick recap on OcuTerra Therapeutics Company should be embarking on fully funded phase 2 trials any time soon ..says early 2022.From Dec 21BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--OcuTerra Therapeutics, Inc. ("OcuTerra"), a clinical stage ophthalmology company developing innovative drugs to treat ophthalmic diseases for which the current standard of care of "watch and wait" does not prevent or control the progression of disease, today announced the final close of a $35 million Series B financing. Proceeds will support the DR-EAM (Diabetic Retinopathy - Early Active Management) Phase 2 study of OTT166 in patients with moderate to severe non-proliferative and mild proliferative diabetic retinopathy. The study is expected to commence early next year.Phase 1b clinical trials of OTT166 eye drops in patients with diabetic retinopathy and wet AMD have demonstrated safety, tolerability and clear clinical evidence of biological activity. OTT166 is a novel small molecule selective integrin inhibitor that OcuTerra has purpose engineered to have the required physiochemical characteristics to be able to reach the retina from eye drop application. Designed to be administered by the patient at home, OTT166 has the potential to dramatically change the treatment paradigm by enabling earlier, non-invasive treatment to preserve vision and prevent progression, thereby delaying or completely eliminating the need for intravitreal injections."OcuTerra is well-positioned to transform the treatment landscape for diabetic retinopathy, the leading cause of vision loss and blindness in working age adults in America," said Kerrie Brady, Chief Executive Officer of OcuTerra. "The current standard of care for these patients is 'watch and wait' until vision deteriorates due to diabetic macular edema or the disease progresses to the proliferative form, at which point medically intensive and invasive eye injections and/or laser treatments are instituted. Our mission is to transform the standard of care with OTT166 to offer a non-invasive, easy to administer, effective treatment that can be prescribed earlier in the disease course by a broader range of eye care providers to avoid sight threatening complications, stop disease progression and potentially avoid invasive treatments. We look forward to evaluating OTT166 in Phase 2 trials beginning early next year.""OTT166 offers potential significant benefit for patients, caregivers and eye care practitioners by providing a non-invasive treatment option for people suffering from diabetic retinopathy," said Carl Regillo, M.D., FACS, Chief of the Retina Service at Wills Eye Hospital and Professor of Ophthalmology at Thomas Jefferson University. "In addition to fulfilling the unmet need of offering a non-invasive treatment option, which would be acceptable to more patients, OTT166 can potentially be administered earlier than eye injections, which may prevent severe disease progression and functional vision loss. I am compelled by the early data and believe that OTT166 has the potential to transform the standard of care for patients with this disease."

Some positive updates on some of our holdings!Orbital SidekickThis would indicate the aurora , their first satellite is operating effectively ?https://www.geospatialworld.net/news/orbital-sidekick-secures-usgs-technical-assistance-agreement/Further decent update on activities from a coupe of weeks agohttps://spacenews.com/orbital-sidekick-aurora-in-q-tel/Orbital Sidekick plans to launch its six-satellite Global Hyperspectral Observation Satellite constellation, known as GHOSt, later this year. While Aurora, like Hyperion, gathers hyperspectral imagery with a resolution of approximately 30 meters per pixel, the GHOSt constellation will "get down to 8 meter ground sample distance, which blows everything else out of the water," Katz said.

I have a holding in HL and i will make the same instruction first thing Monday.Good weekend all...eventful times hopefully restoring some value..but as the current Chairman says a sale of the company or secondary sales may not reflect the full value of the portfolio.Tell you what if someone gave me 30p right now would bite their hands off. I am as it goes about break even and had hoped for a big payday..my ambitions following the down round on Federated Wireless are now much more modest!

Missed this..the only independent director walks ...now how supportive of Harry and Bruce and the shareholder communication does this appear?? The action speaks louder than a thousand Harry spins.Board ChangeAllied Minds plc (LSE: ALM), the IP commercialisation company focused on early stage company development within the technology sector, announces that Mark Lerdal informed the Board yesterday of his wish to resign as a Non-executive Director of the Company with immediate effect. The Board has accepted his resignation. In his notice of resignation, Mark Lerdal (originally nominated by Crystal Amber) thanked the Board and confirmed his support for the plan for Allied Minds going forward. The strategic plan is set out in the circular to shareholders dated 9 March 2022. As the plan was now underway, he believed it was an opportune time for him to stand down from the Board. The Board will immediately commence a process to determine the most appropriate Board and governance composition going forward.Harry Rein, Chairman of Allied Minds, commented:"I thank Mark for his time and effort whilst on the Board of Allied Minds. He, Bruce Failing and I have enjoyed working together since our respective appointments. I am particularly grateful for his support for the strategic plan we have set out in our circular to shareholders."For further information, please contact: Allied Minds plc c/o Instinctif Partners Harry Rein

For those interested in Harry and Bruce's thoughts on a rapid sale of assets do have a look at the CMD from 1hour 50m and explain why now its a cracking idea..unless they have just been buying votes to keep old Harry there against their better judgement?https://vimeopro.com/instinctifpartners/allied-minds-capital-markets-day/video/539731810

Well said..I believe there are a number of Governance issues and the current structure is not fit for purpose. All this plan means is they will keep the useless Chair in place spending over $5m a year ..they have now put a for sale sign up which means sale prices. I reckon in a year nothing much will have happened but we are further down in cash ..all these consultants and advisors I doubt are cheap! I can only figure on the terms on federated that Harry appears to be no negotiator, or is certainly no negotiator for ALM shareholders!

Obviously I would like to see an alternative plan, but CRS up to now have played with a straight bat as far as I can see. The chicanery in the FW funding announcement from HR to dress it up as a mark up for ALM says it all for me. If HR genuinely felt he was doing the right thing then at least he should be transparent with shareholders rather than take them for idiots who are happy to be spoon fed garbage.

The other lot?Amazing they have committed before hearing any alternative plan also amazing that Invesco would want their voting intentions posted on a BB ! Who is running the company looks like Invesco..wonder if Mr Pritchard has recommended a fire sale of company or assets as being the best way forward in maximising shareholder return ? Less than a year ago when asset value and cash were higher the harry show said it wa sa bad idea...what's changed their minds? Just votes to try and keep a tired old man with no skin in the game and apparently no ideas in position?? Shame on them.
