Orbital Sidekick featureshttp://interactive.satellitetoday.com/via/april-2022/That being said, the volume of commercial contracts is edging out the defense, intelligence, and civil contracts, says Orbital Sidekick CEO Daniel Katz. The hyperspectral data provider launched its Aurora sensor as a technology demonstrator in 2021, and has plans to launch six satellites in 2022 to kickstart its Global Hyperspectral Observation Satellite (GHOSt) constellation. The goal is to launch 14 total GHOSt satellites by 2024. The company has eyes on sectors like energy, mining, and oil and gas, and Katz says he's keen to develop a fire monitoring tool that could use hyperspectral imaging to classify vegetation, soil moisture, or carbon mass. But for now, the Defense Department remains Orbital Sidekick's highest paying customer. Exponential growth for commercially applied remote sensing data is still a couple of years away, Katz says, adding, "No one in Earth observation has completely cracked the code for commercial, in a way that commercial is completely outstripping everything else."

This is what I can't stand up.August 2021Outlook for Federated Wireless The Board of Allied Minds is very encouraged with the progress being made at Federated Wireless. It met its first half revenue expectation and is on track to meet its full year plan. Perhaps most importantly, as we continue to witness and understand the evolution of Federated Wireless' business model, in conjunction with external advisers, it is clear that Federated Wireless is very well positioned as an Enterprise Cloud Based Software Company. This understanding gives further confidence in our belief in the potential for significant further value uplift from this very exciting portfolio company.October 2021Federated has sufficient cash to fund its growth into 2022. Allied Minds currently owns 36.61% of Federated and expects that if the company continues to achieve its planned key milestones, it will be in a position to attract any future equity financing in an upround. Last week from HarryFederated Wireless' (Federated) commercial plans were unfortunately delayed by not receiving approval for CBRS from the FCC until May 2021.

I think invesco have just cleared the last of their legacy unquoted assets but I believe CRS holds a few.I agree Orbital has a great model and very interesting future I believe although it's not that long since last funding that Orbital would command a decent up round ..it might seek more funding to accelerate sales and i seem to remember the company has further launches to build the Ghost constellation later this year.I believe what they can deliver from the Aurora already has a full order book.OcuTerra like all life science companies needs to prove safety and efficacy ..they are to start a phase 2 trial ( fully funded) imminently , if successful the enormous size of the market and the very top board in place could well IPO at multiples of current value. But trials take time.My concern is BridgeComm ..they appear to be getting some revenue and are in an exciting 'space' ..but with ALM being majority holder it would appear to be a struggle to raise new funding without ALM holding their corner. Difficult to know what options available are..but apparently have an investment bank on the case. Probably trade sale best option all depends on the quality of the tech , their multiple point laser system appears ahead of the competition.BridgeComm could put a buyer off the whole ..the rest of the assets ...and maybe huge tax losses could be attractive to a private equity player to look at the company.

Agree. Orbitals revenue model also looks attractive. Each of the ghost satellites can generate $100million per annum. I would take shares in them also. I doubt CRS and invesco would want unquoted companies on the books however.

Ha..i tend to feel the role has been a poison chalice for all over the many handovers over the years..whoever steps up to the plate will need to up shareholder communication and show intent to deliver on the strategic objectives set 3 years ago..this cannot drag on. However if there are signs of meaningful growth in Federated Wireless revenues showing through especially recurring revs ..there should be a conversation on how best long suffering shareholders can benefit rather than just jumping ship.

Depends doesn't it , the end of season sale sign is up something one presumes Mark Pritchard has convinced the current board who were strongly against such a move only 12 months ago to go down , Numis i presume is suitably motivated ($$$) to find a corporate buyer ..in fact all share holders now the "plan" is out would probably welcome an end to the saga with a reasonable offer for the whole company as a clean break. Personally not entirely sure it is the right time to sell Federated Wireless..maybe if buyers can be found for the rest a cash and in speci distribution or even IPO of Federated could be achieved within 12 months..might even attract a full offer..all these things though would probably require FW and other shareholder agreement. Problem is Federated needs to show successful and building traction in its markets..something that has not been achieved as yet. With the other assets its touch and go how you can find buyers.. OcuTerra and Orbital are attractive businesses close to inflection points..but no one is going to do a desperate seller any favours. As for BridgeComm ..currently under review under funded and just lost its ceo...have to hope as majority holder we can find a corporate buyer of the company ..soon.Hoping any disposals in the interim have to be okayed with leading shareholders ..don't want further easy sales ( TouchBistro) at the wrong price done before new board is agreed.

I have to presume for Harry to walk that invesco too has said time up otherwise it would have been a close call and Harry would have batted on to a vote.I'm sure if this is the case Invesco will have a big say in the formation of the board which would be a good thing.

I agree with kooba about the institutional position. Invesco is not enough on its own and I have assumed most other instis will be with CRS.

There are usually guns-for-hire to sort out corporate governance, and I assume RB knows someone, just to stabilise it. (Spending your life feuding with shareholders is not a good look, so whatever HR thinks about shareholder activism it's best not to take it personally.)

Good call @Wbodger, I honestly thought he'd muscle it out after coming up with the strategic review.

Well Harry obviously does not have other leading shareholder support and is going with some grace..comments on Federated delays do not really stack up with updates where everything was fine and dandy up to October..maybe a better understanding of why they missed full year forecasts having hit half year we were told?Orderly reconfiguration of the board and quite a bit of time to agree constituents ..wonder if CRS have someone join? They seem to have institutional support and are aligned with shareholders to get the best exits possible to return cash to shareholders in a timely manner.

Crystal Amnber have been a destroyer of Harry Rein's puffed up complacency and he doesn't like it. He doesn't like being called out about the Company's performance.

Someone seems to have sold 331 shares today and the share price dropped a penny, 5%. Is HR going? (Ever hopeful.)

If he doesn't have the votes HR will presumably resign on Tuesday, or before. Assuming there is a quorum (and CA's 18% will assure that) a Chairman can be appointed on the day and the meeting can vote in a Board.

These things are usually arranged in advance, no problem. Will Harry be trusted to be left running Federated? (Can he take orders or is his ego a problem?) Federated is being well enough run, ALM just needs someone to look after its interest properly.

@kooba, you're 3061 post made me laugh - "“Through its behaviour Crystal Amber has been a destroyer of value for all of the Company’s shareholders.”" Somebody should point out that crs have not been running the company.

From last week..i would imagine an IPO of TouchBistro would be many multiples of last raise looking at sector valuations and market position ..think we are selling at a significant discount. https://news.crunchbase.com/news/restaurant-tech-venture-capital-startups-cloudkitchens/TouchBistro Chairman and CEO Samir Zabaneh considers his company nearly ready to go public, but may raise another private round first due to strong investor interest. While its software aims squarely at a restaurant's POS with online ordering, payments and customer loyalty programs, TouchBistro's future growth is simmering in the back of the house
