Beware of 1chrism this is a vegan . In my opinion Veganism is basically a mental health issue.
The Vegan views Laboratory Food as the first step to their ideology, nobody eats or uses animal products.
When the entire World is eating Laboratory Food, The disturbed Vegan will then attempt to indoctrinate the World with the horrors of taking the gene from animals to create Laboratory Food .
SUCCESS the entire world ends up eating lettuce leaves !
Investors with your money you must be able to see where this is going ?

Let me advise , I have been trading since 1997, I have a little experience.
This Anic company makes up several small investments in start ups in a new laboratory food technology.
All of those start ups will need staggering amounts of money to reach commercial fruition .
The bulk of those start ups will fail .
Any that make the grade ? will need huge amounts of additional finance . .. Anic will have to pump in enormous amounts of money or there investment will be diluted to nothing .
If you have a look a little closer they don't have the money, they would have to issue staggering amounts of shares to raise it , you would have to put in massive amounts of more of your money , or you will be diluted to nothing .
The only winners here are likely to be the directors through their fees and expenses.
That's just my opinion but I'm always correct .

Nor is my friends dog . She is a Leftie veggie by the way.

ANIC is an easy target for a seller on current trend. ANIC companies are all pre revenue and majority will be like this until 2025. Add interest rates into the mix, the apetite is for say defensive stocks. And we have probably have a recession round the corner.But, there is no other investment trust for cell ag. that can compete. All companies have a clear and realistic pathway to commercialisation. Blue Nalu recent strategic partnerships are a great example.Id expect the share price to drop until interest rates srart improving. Even if/when Good Dog Food does the pet food equivalent of inventing the car I'm fully expecting no market reaction.So long as cash balance remains healthy and investment strategy realistic the share price trajectory is no different to nearly all AIM listed companies. You only need to note AIM all share price which is back to 2016 lows at least.

This has been on my watch list for quite a while. Every time I think about dipping my toes in, it embarks on another down trend. It seemed be bouncing off 9.8p but failing to hold over 10p. Now its 9.4p. What is going in here?

Any purchases under SBP's by any Company are generally announced within a day or two after they have taken place.

This is what ANIC's SBP RNS said:-

"The Board will authorise each buyback transaction during the Buyback Programme which will be undertaken by Cavendish Securities Plc as the Company's joint broker and each such transaction will be reported and announced once executed."


"EACH SUCH TRANSACTION WILL BE REPORTED AND ANNOUNCED ONCE EXECUTED"

There are no announcements to date.

There is no guarantee that the Buyback Programme will be implemented in full or that any purchases will be made.

They recently did a DNA study of a batch of minced-meat produced by a certain industrial-scale slaughter-house in another country destined for the general hamburger trade.

They found that the mechanically-recovered minced meat contained DNA all mixed together from the carcasses of more than 150 slaughtered cows.

I enjoy eating meat but that thought is quite unappetising.
