I am definitely with you on the opportunity.
But these companies will require staggering amounts of money to get to commercial production.
I'm sure ANIC will have to issue more shares in due course, if they want to keep the investments all the way to commercial stage ?.
I haven't looked how much cash do they have ?
I have two dogs . I feed them the very best dog food and fresh fish . Pet food market is very saturated!
The laboratory meat and the hydrogen stuff interests me .

You are right about patience being required and it requires nerves. But ANIC are very aware of this factor, they have a healthy bank balance to ensure they have to cash to help bring companies to commercial status.I suspect this trend will carry on into next year, although Jim Mellon has said Good Dog Food will be in the shops by the end of 2023 which will be monumental.By the end of next year Mosa Meat, Liberation Labs and Blue Nalu will all be open for business. The latter being seriously game changing insofar as the company makes blue fin tuna at $20 a lb (a $60 discount on the blue fin tuna caught in the sea).I think if you are in ANIC you know two things to be true: it is going to require patience but the opportunities are not matched anywhere else on the market and they all remain on schedule.

The problem with this new technology. It will take an enormous amount of money to bring the projects to the commercial stage . So ANIC will have to keep tipping money in or they will get diluted down to nothing.

The share price is going down at the moment.
Why if the prospects are so great ?

These levels are a great opportunity and as news flow ANIC can move up very rapidly as they have a huge value opportunity.

The areas invested are for the future with Billions Market potential so expect Government Approval and market areas to start building upwards and onwards.

Great Value with Massive Market opportunities Ahead.

Happy Days Ahead for ANIC so get ready.

I have no idea. Seems like that kind of search may be your wheelhouse. Nevertheless, I shall have a look around.

You are right, it is a very exciting sector. But, not so strange. It really is brand new in terms of commercial opportunity. In the popular lab grown meat portion of ANIC portfolio they have not yet a single product on the market. It is all about next year in terms of meat and commercialisation. This means factories and scaling. There are likely a lot of unknowns so it makes perfect sense to keep the powder dry. Important to note also that lab meat is not their only trick. They have a number of other companies who will need scaling money: leather, cotton and dog food. And finally you have liberation labs, they are at present building a factory for precision fermentation which will serve other companies who are looking to scale (e.g. Perfect Day).A quick look at ANIC portfolio will show you that the majority of big opportunities will go commercial around the same time, end of next year. Also, this feed is fairly helpful, if you want to dig down into the company.

If this sector is so exciting, why has the company got so much money sitting in the bank? Strange.

Great article on precision fermentation market due to be worth 34bn USD by 2031. Consider scale as the challenge and ANIC investee Liberation Labs having the only factory that can help companies best that challenge. Will be operational end of 2024.https://vegconomist.com/cultivated-cell-cultured-biotechnology/fermentation/microbes-food-precision-fermentation-market-34-9-billion-2031/

Yup and that stat includes the animal husbandry involved in creating pet food. Good Dog Food takes that mechanic out of the equation. We are still enjoying a 6p discount on ANIC.

A QI prog a few years back stated that, with regard to damage to the planet, the effect of owning a medium sized dog caused the same damage as owning 2 x suv's (due to animal husbandry-methane & forests turned into animal feed). Don't know if this is generally acknowledged?

Agree we can defeat big meat.
ANIC is a great opportunity with many smart investments that will transform out food industry and market.

I like the fantastic Pet Food Opportunity now arriving soon. I would love to provide healthy food for my pets and save the planet and reduce disease from unhealthy foods stuff.

QUOTE:

"GBP80 billion pet food industry. They will create meat that is truly healthy, ethical, and sustainable whilst being free from antibiotics and steroids. Given the more straightforward regulation for pet food, Good Dog Food aims to commercialise product faster than cultivated meat for human food."

Future is bright with massive gains ahead. Nice to be in at the start.

Thank you for sharing, a fascinating article. The more worried the bovine intensive farming community get, the more easy it is to be enthusiastic about Agrinomics. There are a lot of ANIC companies with factories that will be going commercial in 2025. That gives us a year to enjoy a significant discount whilst this argument gathers steam.

Is Upside part of the ANIC portfolio? The ANIC website doesn't list Upside, but is Upside just a brand name?

When can I buy a Ginsters Chicken and Mushroom slice containing cultivated chicken? :-)

Yup, it is a testing time if the focus is on the share price alone. Added to that, bar any nice surprises I suspect the really good news will not start until autumn (with Good Dog Food).I think share price will likely to continue to fall over the summer but this is in line with macro economics. The pipeline for commercialisation is pretty much set, the cash in the bank is great so the overriding feeling for me about the share price is guilt that it is so cheap.
