17/10/2023 13:24 | Chris, I beg to differ but speculation is valid and worthwhile. I had my doubts about the workability and mechanics of the SBP when initially announced and, seeing no purchases in the two weeks from 2nd October since it came into force, adds to those doubts. And do remember that the prime rationale for the SBP was because of the extremely wide discount-to-nav and specifically to "help reduce this discount". Well, since they announced the SBP, the D2N has de facto further WIDENED. The opposite has happened to what they said their stated intention was. They have not done what they implied which was to attempt to tighten/reduce the Discount. They have not even tried to rein the discount in and have allowed the D2N to balloon further. It reflects extremely poorly in my opinion on the management and Company. They allocated £3m to the programme but haven't spent a penny yet. This serves to weaken and undermine investor confidence. Poor show. ALL IMO. DYOR. QP | quepassa
17/10/2023 12:47 | I agree the drop does not shareholders with enthusiasm, but I think speculation beyond anything that can be substantiated is required to make a conclusion on why the board is or is not acting right now on the buyback. They may have an insight in the sellers strategy (they may not). But the timeline for the buyback as I recall is six months.I also dont see any changes in funding strategy that has not done anything but accelerate commercial viability. If this side of things start to lag then that will highlight a cause for concern. | 1chrism
17/10/2023 12:08 | but the company likely do have the ability to halt the sell-off by pressing the button on the recently announced share-buyback program. the company are sending unclear and confusing signals by announcing an SBP and not promptly acting upon it. | quepassa
17/10/2023 11:59 | I dont see the sell off abating this year. At least it is not isolated. With a macro lens it looks to be a (strangely slow) market response to the war. Added to that there will be some inflation and employment figures coming out this week. There will hopefully be positive news this year re Good Dog Food, but save a nice surprise, that will be it. Otherwise, all the commercially exciting news will start hitting in the spring. Mellon and Chow have been clear about pipeline expectations. | 1chrism

16/10/2023 07:51 | Potential Investors Beware of 1chrism this is a vegan . In my opinion Veganism is basically a mental health issue. The Vegan views Laboratory Food as the first step to their ideology, nobody eats or uses animal products. When the entire World is eating Laboratory Food, The disturbed Vegan will then attempt to indoctrinate the World with the horrors of taking the gene from animals to create Laboratory Food . SUCCESS the entire world ends up eating lettuce leaves ! Investors with your money you must be able to see where this is going ? Regards SS | superiorshares
16/10/2023 01:42 | 1 chrism With all this good news - odd that the share price keeps going down ! | superiorshares

13/10/2023 20:41 | Hs finch Let me advise , I have been trading since 1997, I have a little experience. This Anic company makes up several small investments in start ups in a new laboratory food technology. All of those start ups will need staggering amounts of money to reach commercial fruition . The bulk of those start ups will fail . Any that make the grade ? will need huge amounts of additional finance . .. Anic will have to pump in enormous amounts of money or there investment will be diluted to nothing . If you have a look a little closer they don't have the money, they would have to issue staggering amounts of shares to raise it , you would have to put in massive amounts of more of your money , or you will be diluted to nothing . The only winners here are likely to be the directors through their fees and expenses. That's just my opinion but I'm always correct . Regards SS | superiorshares
13/10/2023 20:27 | I chrism Good dog food / the pet food equivalent of inventing the car 😉.. oh dear None of my prize dogs will be eating laboratory food . Nor is my friends dog . She is a Leftie veggie by the way. I asked her if she would eat that Tuna ? Answer ... nooooo. Good dog food will do the pet food equivalent of 1 spark plug in a car ...if your very lucky !!!!! And 1 chrism . You obviously no very little about shorting , there is nothing to short as far as Anic is concerned. | superiorshares
13/10/2023 09:46 | ANIC is an easy target for a seller on current trend. ANIC companies are all pre revenue and majority will be like this until 2025. Add interest rates into the mix, the apetite is for say defensive stocks. And we have probably have a recession round the corner. But, there is no other investment trust for cell ag. that can compete. All companies have a clear and realistic pathway to commercialisation. Blue Nalu recent strategic partnerships are a great example.Id expect the share price to drop until interest rates srart improving. Even if/when Good Dog Food does the pet food equivalent of inventing the car I'm fully expecting no market reaction. So long as cash balance remains healthy and investment strategy realistic the share price trajectory is no different to nearly all AIM listed companies. You only need to note AIM all share price which is back to 2016 lows at least. | 1chrism
13/10/2023 08:30 | This has been on my watch list for quite a while. Every time I think about dipping my toes in, it embarks on another down trend. It seemed be bouncing off 9.8p but failing to hold over 10p. Now its 9.4p. What is going in here? | hsfinch

05/10/2023 16:49 | Any purchases under SBP's by any Company are generally announced within a day or two after they have taken place. This is what ANIC's SBP RNS said:- "The Board will authorise each buyback transaction during the Buyback Programme which will be undertaken by Cavendish Securities Plc as the Company's joint broker and each such transaction will be reported and announced once executed." "EACH SUCH TRANSACTION WILL BE REPORTED AND ANNOUNCED ONCE EXECUTED" There are no announcements to date. all imo. dyor. qp | quepassa |
