In addition to Namibia, the projects in Zambia look to have potential too and some historic drilling already carried out there (48 rc holes on the Zambezi one) + the Botswana ones are quite close to an already producing 150Mt mine.

I think so pranchalee.
There is the potential for nearly $300m value in the precious metals alone if I have done my maths right.

Still a lowly mkt cap for a company with an asset of 10.47Mt measured and indicated of 1.39% copper, 7g/t silver and 0.35g/t gold and the possibility of production in late 22 or early 23.
That is without taking the other assets in to account.

3.50p was the ipo price, getting closer by the day with some luck.

Time will tell Plasybryn. I just hope I haven't sold you a pup but as I have said there seems little downside here.

Well done bigglesbingham.

Thanks pranchalee.

The assets are for nothing when you strip out the cash. And there aren't many minnows so close to the potential of a new copper mine.
Receiving the mining licence for Namibia should create a lot of value for shareholders from this level hopefully. But as we know nothing is a given.

Indeed novicetrade. And the potential of $10-$80m dollars from Sandfire further down the road if they mine the Botswana licences.

Yes and the company should/has also receive(d) $500k from Sandfire + $400k worth of shares, so their cash cover should be all right to do some things this year.
Their project in Namibia seems to have the potential to become a lot larger too, getting a mining license and defining deposit limits to come later with the potential to target a higher production number.

Seems little downside here when half the mkt cap is covered by cash.
Obtaining the mining licence in Namibia should see this rerate.

Botswana exploration drilling may hopefully to start at some point by Sandfire this year which perhaps allows some further work on the below, plus possibly a further update on Namibia this quarter.

The Central African Copperbelt is the largest and most prolific sediment-hosted copper province on Earth

Host to numerous copper-cobalt deposits located in the DRC and Zambia

African Pioneer has completed an agreement to gain a 100% interest in 5 large-scale exploration licences (“LEL’s”), 4 of them in the western extension of the Copperbelt, covering 2,366.3 sq. km, centred around the town of Mwinilunga
Project areas are underlain by metasedimentary rocks of the Nguba and Kundulungu Groups – analogous to the world–class Ivanhoe Kamoa-Kakula deposits in the adjacent DRC

LEL 27771 lies just 10km from the Luamata copper-cobalt deposit which has been subject to recent pilot-scale mining

Some of the licences were covered by reconnaissance exploration by majors, including Anglo American and MinMetals Group, but little follow-up was undertaken

Looking better today, Namibia could become just as big as Galileo Resources' recent 20MT copper project in Zambia imo, but still a bit of catching up to do, placing price was 3.50p for £1.75m raised.
