Strikes me that he seems to be calling it right and the share price would reflect that no?

'It is now in the initial stages of commercialisation.'

Hasn't that been the case for a long, long time?

This message was pulled by Motleyfool as being too personal. At least its not dishonest stock manipulation. :

Motleyfool used to be a media for serious discussion. Jaknife continues his mindless rants re AFC. AFC is researching and developing a revolutionary new electricity source. It is now in the initial stages of commercialisation.
The criteria for assessing the results should be how well its product development has gone and how it is progressing towards commercialisation. Jaknife has nothing to say on this. A serious look at the evidence suggests that the product is well advanced and very credible and that commerce is very interested. To "value" such a company on the basis of cash balance is quite ludicrous. If Jaknife had the technical competence he could legitimately discuss the credibility of the product or of its viabilty. He does neither

Suppose a company is building a railroad over an extended period . Last year it built more miles than the year before. Jaknife would no doubt state that "losses are are marginally higher than the losses for the same period last year ? ie there has been no material improvement since last year" which is of course complete nonsense and I suspect Jaknife knows it is nonsense. But then he has a short to run

All companies will have to publish their Carbon Footprint by next April, not sure how many have done so far, probably the worst contributors will leave to the last minute.

I dont see the funding being an issue, AFC are well placed and very well connected.
They received a grant in December 2011 remember, they are obviously seen as a good candidate.

I was getting confused with International Computers Ltd, then thought thats a mistake it should be ICI taken over by AkzoNobel.

No it is ICL, I imagine their engineers have been over to AkzoNobel's site to see the Beta Plus system working, this is a good sign as it means that all is going well and that customers can see the potential of AFC fuel cell in the fleash.

Lets hope they get the funding, considering the amount they have wasted on Solar and wind.

The only flaw I can see in this venture is it relies on Euro and Uk grants, hopefully Mr Yeo will give nod and wink to the panel.

Yes this deal seems to have come out of nowhere.
I dont think that ICL were mentioned before so with the already known MOUs and leads detailed by NewTech in the header. Then add the potential "unknowns" like ICL then all of this potential starts turning into multiple commercial deals. Its time to start rebuilding my position here I think, this has IMG 5,6 years ago written all over it.

With all these new staff appointments the cash burn will certainly be increasing, leaving less time for orders to processed and invoiced, cash in the bank is going down faster than a Greeks current account.

So I would say that as well as a production manager who was taken on from Ceres Power, they have well and truly started the recruitment campaign.

I am sure we will get a Broker note after the interims are published, it makes sense to get this done first.

I am sure the Broker knows the best timing to hit the market with a thorough report.

As for recruitment, check out the AFC webiste :
