11/12/2017 11:18 | Cheapest share out there. But killed by mm's who quote 25.33-28.5p spread online. | dave4545
11/12/2017 10:58 | Latest figures from 'Company refs', when price was 25p:- a/ PE ratio of 8.53. b/ Net cash per share of 15.8p. c/ Price to sales ratio of 0.49. d/ Positive cash flow per share of 4.98p. e/ Dividend per share of 12p (This figure is out of date however). f/ Three Directors buying recently. Seems very undervalued. | welsheagle
08/12/2017 16:22 | Unfortunately I was not able to make the agm as I had hoped. Anyone here go? | tiswas
07/12/2017 18:08 | The 18p buyers got the bus for almost nowt | ramas
07/12/2017 15:20 | Imagine getting this company for 30p, you get almost all your money straight away and leave yourself with a lovely little business. It should be trading 40p minimum and I guess when they find a complimentary business to go with 21 the combined profits could 500-800k a year then the shares will re-rate | dave4545
07/12/2017 15:15 | All well at AGM it seems and the buying has closed the visible spread with one MM on bid now at 28p Is a bid on the way? | clocktower
07/12/2017 15:15 | All well at AGM it seems and the buying has closed the visible spread with one MM on bid now at 28p Is a bid on the way? | clocktower
07/12/2017 12:09 | 25.25-27.95p online 28p is a bargain but naturally the spread is designed to kill it right off. | dave4545
07/12/2017 12:02 | Spread of almost 17% is crazy (though trading is within these levels) 25p Bid 30p Buy MM stifling trading. | clocktower
07/12/2017 11:55 | Is the AGM today | welsheagle
30/11/2017 14:46 | Spreadx are selling Boffster see recent Rns's Once they are completely out then it will re-rate as this current valuation is ridiculous. | dave4545
30/11/2017 14:45 | With 70% of the shares held either by directors or notifiable holders, one does wonder where the liquidity is coming from. | boffster
30/11/2017 11:57 | I'm sure Mr Hicking has made a shrewd investment here and knows full well what he's doing! | ecclime
30/11/2017 10:19 | Should be fun when the overhang clears. 1000 max online offer atm. Still think spread x have a few left to dump but when they clear it should be a easy bagger. | dave4545
30/11/2017 10:11 | Wondering what Mr Hicking plans are for AEO I like a man with a plan . | wskill
15/11/2017 17:39 | Director buys at 30p and other sell at 26p bid ! When this seller is out this could well take off, there is unlimited support everytime the offer drops to 27-28p range to match the seller | dave4545
15/11/2017 10:39 | Quite a determined seller offloading size this morning and last few days. Does anybody here know who it can be ? Be good for shareprice when they run out of stock, maybe they have already. | dave4545
14/11/2017 15:58 | "Headhunt key people maybe but why pay a takeover premium for the company when the assets are the employees?" tiswas I'd agree with that to a large extent, although at a market cap. around the current valuation a predator could easily pay say 50p (market cap around £4.7m) and get their money back in a couple of years or so. They then effectively pick up quality staff and prestigious clients for next to nothing. Anyway I'd like to see the new management make strides with growing the company organically and/or with sensible acquisitions because therein lies the real value creation for shareholders. If you attend the AGM it would be nice to hear your thoughts afterwards, if you have the time. Cheers. | michaelmouse
14/11/2017 15:06 | michaelmouse I agree with most of what you say but not being vulnerable to a takeover. From what I understand there are a few very creative people, mostly quite senior, who could walk any time should they so choose. Headhunt key people maybe but why pay a takeover premium for the company when the assets are the employees? Also, board still hold quite a few shares between them despite the recent departing directors substantial sales. I am sure the new board would like the time to prove themselves. Maybe a PR firm or suchlike could give them a bigger list of clients to tap up but I am hoping to attend the agm to find out if they are really geared up to take on many new clients should the opportunities present themselves. All imho. | tiswas
14/11/2017 13:23 | Nice wide spread again 29.18-31.67p | dave4545
14/11/2017 13:15 | I expect the MM to give it a little shake soon to get some more stock. Good Luck. | clocktower
14/11/2017 13:13 | At the current 30p share price the market cap. is around £2.8m. However, if you strip out the near £1.9m cash from the balance sheet then AEO can be snapped up for a laughable £907,937. Stripping out the cash means a potential buyer gets a profitable cash generative company for less than a million quid on a p/e ratio of around 4. If AEO was a heavily loss making cash guzzler then possibly you could make a bear argument. However, given that it made a profit of £211,000 and generated cash of £750,000 in the last 6 months then that makes it no brainer to buy doesn't it? In fact, I'd suggest that AEO's share price needs to rise substantially and/or they need to deploy some of the cash quickly and effectively otherwise AEO won't be the predator. At the moment at this lowly valuation it's a sitting duck imo. | michaelmouse |
