09/11/2018 12:19 | Thanks for posting that tiwas - I had not noticed it before. Only thing is that due to the timing of the cash flow, the amount in the bank will as they suggest have dropped to around £1 million by now, and if there were not an influx of new contract early next year, I guess this could suffer and drop quickly. Other than that concern and the reliance of a few large clients, it all looks good imo. | clocktower
09/11/2018 12:04 | I assume people have seen the Allenby note? hxxp://www.allenbyca | tiswas
08/11/2018 09:15 | Don't buy any shares then. | michaelmouse
08/11/2018 09:13 | Well maybe, but it does not fit at all with me when a Chairman dismisses setting financial targets and allowing extremely high incorrect figures to be out in the Market, as '' we don't get involved in that Rubbish''. He also did a very quick and impressive disappearing act after the meeting. I apologise for the repetition as I know a number of very respected investors are in here, but his then negative and dismissive attitude has stuck with me. | pj 1
08/11/2018 09:05 | Hale owns 19% of AEO so he is the largest shareholder. Somebody who owns 19% definitely has shareholder interests at the forefront of his/her mind. | michaelmouse
08/11/2018 08:47 | I well remember Hale being very dismissive of shareholders in the 2014 AGM, and that has stuck with me since, I'm not sure I trust him. The 2 founding Directors who left had the same attitude. | pj 1
08/11/2018 08:17 | The one thing in the accounts that surprises me, is the increase in R.Owen`s salary. I am surprised they have even kept him on the board, in view of what nico115 has had to say about his dealings at USG. If I had been him and nico115 had stated what he did, I think he would be in his rights to pursue him if the facts stated were false. Maybe the board here are not aware of the allegations but if they are surely it cannot be good for the companies reputation. | clocktower
07/11/2018 17:31 | I'd agree with your initial share price target tiswas. | michaelmouse
07/11/2018 08:39 | I am sure Michael mouse will provide the detail but in today's results I see 2.5p eps before exceptionals, 15p cash per share and an optimistic outlook statement. They need to get a brokers note out there to confirm the potential but at the minimum I see 3.5p x 12 pe = 42p + 15p cash =57p. And a higher yield if they can not deploy that cash in the business. Happy to hold/accumulate | tiswas
07/11/2018 08:16 | One of the best value stocks out there Also one of the quietest. If I buy £5k's worth my money is safe and I will get a dividend but that's it, unless there is a miracle spike my money is not getting put to good use when I can use it elsewhere to trade. They should delist and bump up the dividend with the money saved from the listing cost. It could yield 10-20% | dave4545
07/11/2018 08:14 | I am very surprised by the muted share price reaction to say the least. Most positive outlook statement I have seen for Aeo. | tiswas
07/11/2018 08:01 | Cut out the exceptional items that were in relation to the departure of the two founders - the results look even better. Well done AEO - a lot of positives to look forward too imo. LOL - Boffster. | clocktower
07/11/2018 07:51 | Indeed michaelmouse I'm happy to hold this and look forward to your blog :-) | cheshire man
07/11/2018 07:34 | Excellent full year results and an even better outlook statement:- 50% dividend increase as anticipated. "Looking forward to the financial year ended 30 June 2019 and beyond the outlook is very positive. The strength of the new team has led to an excellent series of new business gains since the year end with both existing and new clients. These gains include a major new client in the technology sector and a new global brand within the media sector. The Group continues to win new film production projects and the appointment of Julian Staveley as Experiential Director is also proving successful, with the Group recently winning a roadshow event for a global electronics company." I'll pen a blog post later today hopefully. | michaelmouse

29/10/2018 17:12 | First step towards utopia today!! | clocktower
24/10/2018 17:49 | Mr Hicking - building a nice sized stake, and bearing in mind the way the stake has been built, any positive news now could set the share price alight and rapidly shoot back up imo. Time for a chart bounce. | clocktower
10/10/2018 09:01 | Wow, real quotes this morning of 27.7/27.9. Never seen the spread that tight. | tiswas
23/8/2018 09:12 | That`s a new one on me ramas, as the shares surely are not really in existence and part of the total number of shares in the company until exercised surely. Interesting if that is the case, anyone else informed on the subject? | clocktower
23/8/2018 08:30 | I think when vested you can take the dividends prior to exercise ? I have a similar scheme where I've been drawing dividends although my eligibility to exercise is in the future - I'll have to dig out the paperwork. My reason for asking is this is benefit over and above the share price which remains lacklustre and would struggle To support a significant director sale | ramas
23/8/2018 07:56 | Re-granted for administrative reasons but they can now exercise them up until ten years from 22.08.18 and no longer ten years from 17.11.2017. So not only an administrative reason. November 2017 "The options have an exercise price of 29p. The options vest immediately and can be exercised in the period from the third anniversary of the date of grant until the tenth anniversary of the date of grant." August 2018 " The options have an exercise price of 29p, being the average closing mid-market share price of an Ordinary Share on AIM in the thirty days ended 22 August 2018. The options vest on 17 November 2020 and can be exercised in the period from 17 November 2020 until 5:00pm on the business day before the tenth anniversary of the date of grant, being 22 August 2018." | clocktower
