21/1/2016 19:49 | "Getting to grip with Internet of Things" 2016 will see rapid growth of IOT in 2016 With Gartner forecasting 6.4 billion connected ‘things’ in use worldwide by 2016, rising to 21 billion by the year 2020, you’d be right to anticipate an imminent acceleration in projects and devices that harness the Internet of Things (IoT). However, IoT isn’t just a consumer phenomenon, it has been brewing in recent years and 2015 marked the point where IoT gained significant momentum. In 2016 IoT will move beyond the hype and in the year ahead we expect to see business adoption increasing and use cases starting to broaden out." "At TeamViewer we’ve been enabling human to machine connectivity for many years, working with small businesses as well as the largest retailers and manufacturers on the remote management and control of devices. This prelude to IoT is now going through a transition and in 2015 we saw IoT gathering pace with a slew of customers using TeamViewer to connect and control devices in projects for a wide range of applications, ranging from cash registers, to fish feeding devices, power turbines and water filtration systems." Internet of Thing the next industrial revolution... | simon templar qc
21/1/2016 09:26 | Good to have varied thought patterns on here. JB: Take your point about the broker disagreement on oil prices but IMO sole brokerages have more of a responsibility to their house clients. Cantor are very secretive only allowing their clients information and I doubt very much that PI's actually take too much notice of BB's in making investment decisions. I hope not anyway otherwise HBN or whatever name he currently uses would be responsibly for numerous bankruptcies. Just one point about your last post - Did you mean your money will be invested in APC or OIL? | rinson
21/1/2016 08:46 | I have too..took a few of at 11p, but still hold. I am learning all the time and a make mistakes, but remain objective. Brokers' notes.. foolish to buy in just their advice. look around you , how many professionals are disagreeing on oil at the moment. Different market and geopolitical forces at play This is where much of my money will be investing in | jailbird

21/1/2016 08:34 | Simon Templar QC 8 Jan'16 - 15:59 - 1203 of 1224 0 1 lol Yes and if u had have been on the ball u could have picked up some stock at just under 10 pence today. Not that the odd penny either way makes all that difference at this price should the share price double. kemche 8 Jan'16 - 16:01 - 1204 of 1224 1 0 edit I suspect, and mind you it's only a suspicion, that I could pick them up cheaper. But as I say it's only a suspicion. | kemche

21/1/2016 08:30 | Simon, Do you have an opinion based on your own analysis or knowledge of balance sheets? or do you just regurgitate/ copy and paste brokers' notes. You seem very a naive investor...take your rose tinted glasses off because you are invested here and look at things objectively | jailbird
21/1/2016 08:25 | They always are. | kemche |
