09/6/2015 11:24 | I am happy as larry with AEG. Proactive CEO and team looks like its rocking! | zeetruth
09/6/2015 11:09 | I took the initiative and called Richard, whilst he was candid about whether or not there will or will not be a placement of shares and when that might or might not be. I was advised that the team at AEG would be very much welcome the participation of Shareholders whom have supported the company for so long and advised me that should I or any shareholder who wishes to be included in any potential future placing's should write the AEG’s CFO Brian Evans Jones, with their name, their brokers details including the person at that brokerage they usually transact business with. He assured me that should I or any Shareholder send this information to Mr Evans Jones, he would ensure that those people would be included in any placement. I have just sent my detail prior to posting this message and await news from my Broker. | zeetruth
09/6/2015 08:03 | Hi James, thanks for your response. Im here to discuss ideas and probabilities, not personalities or experience. Your post didnt alleviate my concerns about AEG. Several months is not h2, thats a silly suggestion. Experience shows that when legal challenges or investigations occur, they dont end soon or well for companies on AIM. As for directors reassuring investors, on AIM we know that cannot be trusted. Directors regularly mislead or lie - perhaps not the case here, but unfortunately it means that you can never take their words at face value. Derrickson buying...yes id view this as a positive piece of news. Numbers....AEG burnt about 3m cash last year. Thats not gd for a 30m mkt cap company, id say thats why the forestry deal is so important and needs to be highlighted as a risk given AEG are about to, or are out of cashhence equity raise in near term) and the vagueness and increasing delay to forestry deal. | shaunstar
09/6/2015 01:48 | At no point did they say the outcome of the investigation would be H2. They said the deal would be concluded in 2015 H2... That's in line with what they orginally said in January... several months = H2. Look at the numbers? Ok we had our first profitable (operating) quater in Q4 2014. this only just shows the turnaround. Higher margin with 600k tonnes in 2015 is amazing and targeting 1.3m+ in 2016. Derrikson has bought 28m shares in AEG, only a month ago. I think the investigation will be concluded soon and his purchase speaks volumes. Perhaps you missed the part in the report where the board said they were confident of the deal going through. I think the biggest sell I've seen today was just 100k or so on the ISDX? So if you did sell I don't think it really matters. Good luck wherever else but from what I can see from your history your an amateur shorter. | jamesbrightwell
09/6/2015 01:08 | Hmmm relatively little said about the metis settlement forestry deal.... One of the original reasons i invested. On Jan 29th an RNS told investors one of the offers was expected to be concluded within several months following an investigation by Alberta provincial government.... id call that by April. Its now June and its mentioned in full yr results that it is now expected to be concluded in h2 of 2015 with no explanation to investors. These Delays, increasing vagueness and talk of 'confirming the legal and commercial validity' of the joint venture suggest all is not well. I think theres a good chance this will get delayed ad infinitum, else govt puts a stop to it. | shaunstar
08/6/2015 21:54 | Yes its all brilliant news James, except that its not, not really when you look coldly at the numbers. Its a shame because i had high hopes. | shaunstar
08/6/2015 20:07 | Shaun, no one will be spooked by your placing nonsense. Quite simple look at the turnaround here since 2012 shipping 5k tonnes. 2014 we shipped 150k tonnes on low margin. 2015 we're looking at 600k tonnes on great margin and results also highlighted a £2m investment to ramp up production to 1.3m! That means more off take agreements and huge revenues and our first profitable year. Not just that we have our first KAQUO deal that will net a minimum of 45 million dollars to AEG. The first of many potential deals. We also have a huge PPP initiative and pelleting update incoming. Huge potential in AEG and amateur shorters will be burned. Placing here will be oversubscribed by current shareholders including Derrikson. | jamesbrightwell
08/6/2015 19:07 | I spotted this post on another board, and (apologies to the author) had to re-post it here as I couldn't have put it better myself... "Given the huge increase in trading volumes I'd have been very surprised if AEG didn't need to secure additional financing - I know I would if I tripled the size of my business in a year and needed to invest in new equipment etc. to cope with future growth! I personally see it as a good sign that they've informed the market of this in good time..." Sums up my view perfectly! | deaconblue1
08/6/2015 18:30 | People will sell ahead of the placement.....but i just think its incredibly fishy that they can increase revenues so substantially yet still have no free cash flow. Im also scared by their inability to plan around required investments to put themselves in a position where they need to dilute shareholders. Just odd/suspicious. | shaunstar
08/6/2015 18:04 | If they need money they need money. I'll be buying the placement | drmaccers
08/6/2015 16:14 | Its all looking hunkey dorey then they sneak this in on Page 35: "Accordingly, the Directors intend to raise funds through the issue of further equity in the near future. The Directors are confident that an issue of further equity will be successful and that the Group and Company shall be able to meet their liabilities as they fall due for a period of at least 12 months from the date of approval of these financial statements." Placing coming. I sold and have gone short. Utter toerags. Shaun | shaunstar
08/6/2015 12:12 | Have now had time to properly review the 2014 Results, and they make for good reading... Delighted at the near-tripling of turnover to $23.3 million - there aren't many companies that can achieve that! - and the improvement in gross margins makes that figure all the more impressive. Impressed at the Report's focus on each area of the company's trading activities - not just its core MDF wood chip business, but its new Biomass fuel and forestry divisions. If only other AIM-listed firms were so clear about what they do and where they're going. Overall, confirmed my firm belief that AEG is a company is on the up, and that the Board know what they're doing. Looking forward to 2015 Results - expect to see a further dramatic increase in revenues, accompanied by an operating profit, at which time I expect there'll be a lot of people looking back on the current share price and wondering why they didn't buy more! | deaconblue1
08/6/2015 09:34 | Final results for last year released this morning. 75 pages of reading but quick scan looks good with share price creeping higher. | nigelmoat
02/6/2015 15:31 | Share price down over 7% today - come on AEG let's have some up dated news of all the good things that are happening. | nigelmoat
29/5/2015 16:02 | Saw a link on another message board to a Ukraine government minister talking at the New Ukraine 2015 conference at which AEG unveiled their forestry/Biomass power initiative last week: As the poster wrote, it's well worth a few minutes of your time - everything he says bodes well for the future of AEG's initiative. | deaconblue1
27/5/2015 19:38 | Nice 250k buy on the bell chart looks great after pull back to trend line last week. | alphatrend1
27/5/2015 16:49 | RS said the video of the PPP presentation would be available on the website soon. Should reveal a lot more in my opinion and may be released with an RNS on progress. | jamesbrightwell
27/5/2015 14:25 | This PPP initiative seems to have been around since at least 13th May. It would be good to hear some details from the company. And not least some reactions from Ukrainian authorities. | mikkydhu
27/5/2015 11:50 | More buying today. 7p soon? | danieljackson
21/5/2015 12:57 | Following a pull back in the share price over the last week or so, good to see some strong buying interest returning today. More good news on its way? Must be due an update on Canada soon. | nigelmoat
15/5/2015 11:48 | This email reply came at 10.10am this morning but I was out until now. Sorry for the delay in posting. The company issued an RNS earlier this week which is correct. Thank you Richard | marab
15/5/2015 10:17 | Tha`ts great, today is the chipping, rail, port, visit so the poor man will be dashing about everywhere. | canalet3
15/5/2015 09:15 | canalet3 I have just sent RS an email asking for clarification. I know he will be very busy but he is very good at answering emails from shareholders. If I get a reply I will post it here but I would be very surprised if others had not already emailed him the same question. | marab
15/5/2015 08:39 | marab, I agree, although the article does jump about a bit, the "just this week agreed " is pretty definite. We need to clarify. | canalet3 |
