The short position has been reduced to 5.42% and we're no longer top of the list!

Under "All previous disclosures", if you click on any entry, you are given a list of when they changed their position - so the first entry "Point72 Asset Management, L.P." gives you :-

All I am saying is that there is no guarantee that the dividend will be paid de facto

Aviva my thoughts well documented
Direct line just recently

Nothing would suprise me which is why when I sold out recently at 215 I as happy to exit with a small loss

But they may come good I merely pointed out that a declared dividend can be rescinded and we are left holding the baby

Ethics is a dirty word in this market

Caveat emptor

Cynicism is my watchword now

Good luck

Thanks for that.
Did they say why they dont want the dividend?
HSBC only give 3.54%
ABDN give 7% (eg DOUBLE hsbc)

I've looked over this and its quite difficult to find a FTSE100 company with such a good combination of low PE, high DIV yield and chances of recovery than ABDN....

Unless I've missed something....

With the recent BULL RUN in the market does that mean all ABDNs assets/investments are worth more now?

Having first bought these last February @242.75p, and averaged down - last purchase @150.85p in July, I'm comfortably in profit and not looking to sell anytime soon.

LONDON, Feb 1 - Abrdn ABDN.L has hired a new
chief investment officer from one of Europe's largest global
pension investors, the company said on Wednesday, as it seeks to
boost returns after a turbulent period.

Peter Branner will join on May 1 from APG Asset Management
and will work on simplifying Abrdn's product range, focusing on
core services and improving investment performance, the company
said.

The company had been without a chief investment officer
since the end of 2021, when Rod Paris left the group.

Asset managers have had to navigate a tough market over the
past year as volatility acclerated by war in Ukraine and rampant
inflation have hit stocks and bonds.

Abrdn said last year it would take longer to grow its
revenues and boost profitability after half-yearly profit missed
expectations, as outflows surged and cautious investors shunned
riskier investments.
