A good 15 percent rise today and another 15 next week and we'll be back in the 100p+.let's hope for more short squeeze and a good turnaround news from new bod.

My ISA holdings in Artemis Investment Funds are doing tremendously well and then seeing 888 in their list of undervalued stocks made me look and dipped into this again.

Getting it back above 100p and with improved earnings I am sure the next offer will at least be double or triple of the 700millions initially put on the table by playtech .

You're probably right of a short squeeze.. There seems to be a rush to cover some shorts.

Just trawling through the short positions there is a high possibility of a short squeeze on some of the positions listed in my previous post. Interesting as it seems on that subject.

Quant and other Algorithms can lead to over-exposure in the short position.

Explanation-

In the stock market, a short squeeze is a rapid increase in the price of a stock owing primarily to an excess of short selling of a stock rather than underlying fundamentals. A short squeeze occurs when demand has increased relative to supply because short sellers have to buy stock to cover their short positions.

The Author is based in Cardiff named Liam Hoofe. Also, I covered a certain Cardiff Law firm in Wales (Hugh James Deal Makers).

I shall comment on what 888 Holdings Plc Board " 2024 will see 888 undertake a corporate reorganization led by Group CEO Per Widerström, who began the role in October 2023. The company’s board has vowed to return profitable growth to the business and maximize value creation".

This is in March 2024 which is only a few weeks away interesting times ahead.

i did a bit of hunting out Helicon formed in was it 2019 ? got some big % returns initially

i found they invested in this OTC stock priced in euros

as they say in Indiana Jones "they chose badly"
