I was reading the other day about 365 applying to get a licence in some state and mentioned it on here and thought yeh in your dreams. Waste your money on something else than "Stoke"

Fact It's easier to take money from "lower intelligent" people in another continent without naming it.

So summing up "Lazarus888 " is to have an operation to remove a foreign body and as I said yesterday has finally turned the corner ?

At a total cost of 50 millions to 888 in return for a 6-7 millions cost savings a year.I could only conclude this as another reduction to future revenues .

Apparently ENT release their results this Thursday so we will get a guide. ENT'S threads have links to the local "Samaritans" at least ours don't (yet)

Restructuring is taking time due to very restrictive gambling restrictions in place, which is also slowing revenue generation. It will require disposing of more non-profitable assets and use the proceeds in paying down a significant part of debts. IMHO.

I have just been told that apart from making certain changes to the detriment of the "mug punter" bet builder etc stuff "consolations" from March 1st

Bookmaker PP are taking away "paying out immediately" when your team is 2-0 up


HOWEVER THESE CHANGES WILL NOT APPLY TO RETAIL SHOPS - SO YOU CAN SEE the way BOOKMAKING IS GOING - THE WAY A LOT OF YOU SAID

I think I read something about retail bookmaking profits being ( or going to be ) taxed lower than on line




so if this "tentacle" of the business does it others will soon follow ?

apparently bet 365 also offer early payout when your team is winning 2-0

one could make an argument that 888 aren't out of the woods with the gambling commission (roomspray needed to get rid of the kebab smell.

In the alternative maybe ENT & FLUBBER are also having to recruit similar posts (homework for HOPE to check)

Remember when GC fined 888 for letting a punter lose significantly with both 888 & Mr Green IN THEIR WISDOM they expected the group to share info - i believe contrary to the Data Protection Act

which makes you wonder how they will deal with the FLUBBER stable of bookmakers

Would they limit a punter with multiple accounts with FLUBBER to a single account --

the way they treated 888 makes you wonder

by the way a couple of my yesterda posts (for what they are worth) don't appear unless you go into the mode that filters certain posters.

888 William Hill expanding Customer Due Diligence through the group(Leeds) there have been others over the past few weeks.

On a side note following some sports ETF - BETZ Sports Betting & iGaming ETF (1.21% 888 Holdings) etc to see if they increasing their position over the past weeks. It is a good indicator if any information filters through if they increase thier holdings.

White Horse is correct DraftKings they looking to expand else where.

Someone has given a negative to the fact Hills are giving freebies it makes you wonder what planet they are on. They obviously don't want potential "free" money

We are all getting a bit bored of hearing about the "legacy" 156 pence bid(s) you can only each out on that for so long before reality knocks on the door.

Talking of take over bids Halfords seem to have a puncture in their profits

saw this today ....

"Outside the FTSE 350, Halfords tumbled as it slashed its profit guidance for this year, saying it had seen "a further material weakening" in three of its four core markets, resulting in a significant drop in like-for-like revenue growth in the retail business."

Now it's only 6 to 8 weeks since they were subjected to a takeover bid and they turned it down flat (as in tyre) " company worth more as usual etc etc ". Their shares dropped immediately

and now they pull this rabbit out of the hat to deflate shareholders.

Well at least here's some good news for William Hill Account Holders .....

William Hill will be giving away a free (no strings) £5 bet for each of the 4 days of Cheltenham to on line account holders. that's 20 squid in my world. If you know nothing about horses put it on the 2nd favourite in the first race every day but you will have to name it.
