Daily Mail ran a story on 888 Holdings. Let's be clear it is an OLD STORY (The timing of it is strange mind Flutter is impacted no mention of them ) May 2024 should be interesting

In the Article Daily Mail mentioned £116 Million has been set aside.

The money has been set aside for a while and mentioned in other News Articles. It is not going to impact present operations as it was in the past and money put aside for that eventually.

I always think of the current logo as "six tyres "or six polo mints anyone -

These people that sit in boardrooms and have nothing better to do than tinker at the edges with things like name changes really grind my gears. Sort the bloody business out first please, your shareholders have seen the share price halve and more in recent times.

Moving on Results slightly up on Guidance forecasts. Retail Review was down 7% which was to be expected from regulation headwinds. With Retail in Q3 to Q4 to pick up as smaller operators move away and the more staple William Hill picks up the business. This is due to the introduction of measures that will be somewhat too restrictive for online customers through 2024.

888 Holdings moving into Q2 probably will see the implementation of VCP and synergies becoming more apparent through cost savings and the partnerships with A. I group.

Any name change is a gamble the Title"Evoke" meaning to bring to mind or recollection. this place evokes memories.

8 shares its shape with the symbol of infinity. It is a number that comes blessed with positive energy, the power of transitions, and the possibility of infinite abundance.
888 Collectively is more Favourable.

The name change in a historical sense does not work. There are too many examples of name changes where they failed.

The money spent is best put towards debt, growth, or other areas. William Hill is, in a Historical sense more important than a gimmick.

The new Titanic they are building apparently is going to have more lifeboats than the last

and it seems the "888 shareholder" lifeboats are getting fuller by the day as the dream of a
"Newfoundland of betting opportunities " goes on the rocks and 888 becomes "dial 999"

there are a lot of Man City Leicester/ Leeds Portsmouth Stockport accumulators out there with the trade generally in fact not far from a re-run of the "secret" disaster (weekend of 16 Sep 2023 revisited ?)

Total 1.69%

On the share side news on Mr Green in Denmark probably had a slight impact. 888 Holdings probably will update its AML protocols.
